Scarf "Winter Fairy Tale" - Double knitting pattern

This snowy winter wonderland looks like the beginning of a beautiful fairy tale. On cold, dreary winter days, it's wonderful to wrap yourself up in this cozy scarf and dream of this peaceful idyll. And while knitting, it is really fun to watch how this beautiful scenery develops!

This scarf is knitted in the double knitting technique. Thus, it is extra soft and warm, and it looks beautiful on both sides.

You will get five separate pdf documents:

• general instructions on how to knit the scarf
• four knitting charts for the various motif parts

skills level: advanced

Gauge 27 stitches x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

Size of the scarf will be approx. 18.5 cm x 158 cm. You can vary the length of the scarf very easily.

Please note : If you have a different gauge, the size of the finished scarf will be different, too!

• Alpacare® Baby Socks Hansa-Farm (75 % Alpaca (Baby) / 25 % Polyamide, 56 g = 210 m); green and white, about 100 g per colour; for a longer scarf you will need an additional skein per colour
• alternatively you can use any similar yarn, e.g. soft sock wool
• knitting needles 2.5 mm / US 1 ½
• tapestry needle, scissors
