This fun “Happy Dog” dishcloth is perfect for using up a few cotton scraps. It is knitted in double-face and therefore looks great from both sides.

You can crochet these potholders in different colors or even entirely from colorful leftover yarn—and cleverly reduce your yarn stash at the same time :-)

If you have some larger amounts of leftover yarn, about 20–35 grams per color, you can crochet these pretty cloths from them, either as a comfort cloth, washcloth, dishcloth, or potholder.

All the motifs shown are also available in my shop as double-face knitting patterns.

If you’ve accumulated some scrap photo cardstock in colors that match the Christmas theme, this Advent calendar would be a great way to use it up.

Each star measures approximately 17.5 x 17 x 4.5 cm. The calendar is very easy to make and is even well-suited for crafting with children.

Do you have too many scraps of black photo card left over from making lanterns? You can put them to great use in these Halloween window garlands .

The garlands shown are each about 85 cm long, but you can adjust them to suit your own taste or needs.

These garlands are also great for beginners.

My favorite pattern for leftover yarn is the

Crochet Hearts

They’re fun in every color, even now in fall, and with a hook you can quickly turn them into colorful Christmas tree ornaments. That way, you can crochet your way right through your box of leftovers.

Have fun crocheting

You only need about 25 grams of yarn for the little crocheted pumpkins , so you can put together a pretty, colorful collection.
