Crochet Pattern Washcloth "Elo Elephant"

This cute elephant called Elo hopes to find a little friend very soon! He likes to cuddle with babies but is also happy to serve as a wash cloth for older children.

If you use a 100 % cotton yarn, you can also work the motif as potholders or dishcloth. My tester Sandra even created a very lovely bag.

Crocheting with two colours is quite easy and is explained in detail in the pattern.

Required skills: good basic knowledge of crocheting (chain stitch, sling stitch, single crochet)

You will get two separate pdf documents:

• General instructions on how to crochet the cloth
• Crochet chart for the motif

With a gauge (crocheted with both colours) 25 stitches x 24 rows = approx. 10 x 10 cm, size of the finished cloth will be approx. 23 x 23 cm.

If the gauge is different, the size of the finished cloth will be different, too.

• Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Cotton Bamboo (156 m / 50 gr, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 class 1 certified), approx. 35 gr in blue (background colour) and approx. 20 gr in beige (motif colour)
• Crochet hook 2,5 mm (or suitable hook size for the yarn used)
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
