It doesn’t always have to be candy! With just a few scraps of leftover yarn, a little imagination and skill, you can crochet truly wonderful little gifts for children.

Kindergarten and elementary school children in particular will have lots of fun with these cute pencil toppers. Dog, cat, and mouse fit standard pencils or colored pencils. For thicker pencils, just crochet a few more stitches for the sleeve.
