A colorful accessory is just what you need to brighten up the gloomy weather. Here, I’d like to introduce you to two cowls that are cozy and soft, and whose beautiful motifs and colors will put you in a good mood even while you’re knitting. Both are knitted using the double-face technique. If you’re not familiar with this knitting technique yet but would like to give it a try, you’ll find a free pattern for the basics of double-face knitting in my shop.

How about trying Tunisian crochet?

All patterns are crocheted in the Tunisian basic stitch and include a practice section, so go ahead and give this great crochet technique a try—it really isn’t that hard and is a lot of fun. If you have any questions, I’m happy to help.

The motifs are crocheted in using charts (included in color) and really stand out beautifully.
I crocheted all models with a size 3.5 Tunisian crochet hook and cotton yarn,
e.g. Catania Originals by Schachenmayr  / 50 g = 125 m.
For exact material and quantity details, just click on the corresponding photos.

The pillows are approx. 40 cm x 40 cm, and the potholders are approx. 21 cm x 23 cm.

This colorful little skirt for 3- to 4-year-olds is very popular. Children like things colorful and comfortable. This skirt is easy as pie for kids to put on and take off by themselves. Knitting it is fun, and anyone who likes to be creative will find this the perfect model.

Leggings made from sock yarn are nice and warm and comfortable—just right for playing outside. They are easy to knit and fit toddlers from about 3 to 5 years old, because the pants grow with the child.

This cute pinafore dress with knitted-in little hearts fits a baby and even a 3-year-old toddler. It can be transformed very easily. It is knitted from the bottom up with no seams.

For spring, a colorful, warm jacket made from merino wool is just right. It has a hood for when it does get a bit cooler, and pockets, which are always popular with toddlers. The jacket fits approximately sizes 92 to 104.

Babies don’t really like having clothes pulled over their heads. This balaclava hat keeps the head and neck/nape equally warm. But it is very easy to put on because it buttons at the front. The hat is easy to knit.

These leggings made from a merino-alpaca blend fit toddlers aged 1.5 to about 3 years. They can also be knitted from sock yarn with the same yardage.

This convertible pinafore skirt really does fit from 1.5 to about 5 years. It is also knitted from the bottom up and has a little heart pattern.

There is also a pinafore dress for babies that looks simply enchanting when worn. It fits up to 1.5 years.

Today I’ll show you a few blankets to crochet. They are all also wonderfully suitable for smaller and larger yarn leftovers......

For this crocheted blanket, you need to know single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet. In the pattern, the stitch pattern is explained in writing, but you will also find a crochet chart.

This blanket is started in the middle like a granny square. The pattern repeat covers one round, and you should be familiar with double crochet and chain stitches.

This blanket is also started in the middle, and the stitch pattern covers 2 rounds. You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

I’m already really in the mood for spring and summer again. If you feel the same way, here are a few lovely designs for warm days, each with over 100 sales:

1) Summer Top "Melody": The cut is simple, the pattern has sophistication and stands out with cleverly crossed multiple double crochets.

2)  Tunic "Arielle": This tunic is an absolute figure-flatterer. The pattern works up quickly and easily, repeats every two rows, and thanks to the detailed description, the pattern is also easy for beginners to manage.

3) This beautiful tunic also creates a wonderful silhouette. "Mayla" is very easy to crochet. The narrow tie belt gives you different ways to wear it. A wonderfully delicate, airy basic piece, not just for the warm season. Also well suited for beginners.

4) The tunic "Rosenrot" also has a lovely loose cut. It is quick and easy to crochet, yet has sophistication thanks to the tie belt, sloped shoulders, and rounded corners. The yarn is made of 100% virgin wool and is a true lightweight. With a long-sleeved shirt or a fitted dress underneath, it’s a great garment for the whole year.

Knitting pattern for a hat in 3 sizes - 0 - 24 months

An airy lace pattern and the fun little points are just right for a spring hat

Crochet pattern for a balloon cover

Individual granny squares are crocheted and then sewn together at the end. This keeps the balloon well protected. And if the cover gets dirty, it dries again very quickly after washing.

Knitting pattern for baby shoes

Knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, this model requires some practice with double-pointed needles.

If you’re already longing for spring flowers, these tulips will help you pass the time until they arrive.

The tulips are made from photo cardstock, construction paper, and crepe paper and are approximately 34 cm tall. They’re also very well suited for beginners with some crafting experience to recreate.
