This beautiful, airy and lightweight handkerchief hem tunic is crocheted in one piece from the top down – perfect for gradient yarns / yarn cakes.

Whether at the beach over a bikini or swimsuit, or in everyday life with jeans, a skirt, or shorts – this unique top is versatile and always a real eye-catcher.

Thanks to its loose fit around the belly, the tunic is also ideal during pregnancy: it grows with you, offers lots of freedom of movement, and always looks stylish.

Even on cooler days you can wear it effortlessly – simply put it on over a long-sleeve shirt or blouse and it instantly becomes fall- and winter-ready. With “Arielle” you’ll have a true all-round piece that gives you endless styling possibilities.

The pattern includes a very detailed step-by-step description (14 pages of text), a crochet chart, and a schematic with measurements.

Required skills: slip stitch, chain, double crochet and treble.

The tunic is quick and easy to make – also suitable for beginners with some crochet experience.

Size Information

The pattern is written for sizes (S/M) (L/XL) (XXL).
Instructions on how to adjust the tunic to other sizes are also included in the pattern.

Materials List

  • 3-ply gradient yarn cake, 50% cotton, 50% acrylic (e.g. from Bobbelscheune), in dark blue, ultramarine, and grape (from inside to outside), or color of choice
    for size S/M approx. 800 m (= 160 g)
    for size L/XL approx. 1000 m (= 200 g)
    fro size XXL approx. 1200 m (= 240 g)
    add approx. 200 m for each additional double size
  • Corchet hook 3.0 mm
  • 2 stitch marker
  • Tapestry needle
  • Optional: some sewing thread, matching color or transparent

Super Anleitung

Ich habe schon viele Shirts in sämtlichen Farbverläufen nach dieser Anleitung gehäkelt und ich liebe sie! Ist einfach zu häkeln und macht süchtig 😉 Nur den komischen Spitz an der Seite habe ich weggelassen.

Leider ein Reinfall.

Die Anleitung ist prinzipiell übersichtlich und gut erklärt, jedoch passen die Größenangaben überhaupt nicht. Habe es nun in mehreren Größen mehrfach bis zur Ärmelschliessung begonnen und es passt hinten und vorne nicht.

Tunika Shirt

Sehr schönes Shirt. Habe die Anleitung erst gestern gekauft. Ich hoffe, ich bekomme es hin. Tue mich mit "Häkelschriften" etwas sehr schwer. Ich brauche Reihe für Reihe Anleitung. Freue mich aber auf das Nacharbeiten.

Meine erste Tunika - mir gefällt sie

Das Muster ist sehr einfach zu häkeln, die Beschreibung sehr gut. Habe als Beginn den Fußschlingenanschlag gewählt, weil ich mit der Luftmaschenkette nicht so klar komme. Werde ich bestimmt noch einmal häkeln.

  • ich habe ein Problem mit dem Beginn der Ecken: wenn ich mich an die Anleitung halte, habe ich doch 2 Doppelstäbchen hintereinander…? Oder denke ich da falsch?Also ich meine die 2. Runde das gelb markierte… wenn ich aber alles in eine Masche arbeite komme ich mit der Maschenzahl nicht hin…
  • Hilfe, mein Wunschzettel wächst. Sehr schön. Ich stell es mir gerade einfach etwas länger gehäkelt vor, mit Unterkleid und breitem Gürtel. Ich muss das unbedingt machen ❤️
