Crochet Pattern Summer Tunic “Rosenrot” – airy boho top with belt

Product description

Crochet your new favorite outfit – for summer and beyond!
This easy-to-make summer tunic “Rosenrot” is light, breezy, and full of style. A true feel-good piece with clever details like slanted shoulders, rounded edges, and a separate tie belt that lets you wear it in multiple ways.

What makes this tunic special:
• Quick & easy to crochet – perfect for relaxed crochet sessions
• Stylish & clever: shaped shoulders, curved corners, and a detachable belt for versatile styling
• Oversized & flattering – comfortable fit for many body types
• Wear it all year – layer with a long-sleeve top, blouse, or dress in cooler seasons
• Relaxing stitch pattern – mostly worked into chain spaces, so it's gentle on the eyes and flows effortlessly

You’d prefer a mini dress or longer version? Simply add rows and transform the tunic into a casual crochet dress.

Construction:
• Front and back panels are worked separately
• Seamed together at shoulders and lower sides
• The belt is crocheted separately and adjustable

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The pattern includes written instructions, crochet chart, step-by-step photos, and a schematic drawing.

Required skills: slip stitch, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
The pattern also uses puff stitches – these are explained in detail with step-by-step photos and written instructions.

Size Information

Size: M – XL (2XL – 4XL)
This top has an oversized fit, which is why I combined 3 sizes into one range.

Materials List

  • Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 285 Lace, Color: 00581 Cabernet
Yardage: 282 meters per 50 grams – 100% virgin wool
or a yarn with a similar yardage
    Size M – XL = approx. 300 grams
    Size 2XL – 4XL = approx. 350 grams

Note on yarn quantity (if using the same yarn as I did):
For each size range, using 1 ball (50 g) less might just barely be enough — but I recommend sticking to the suggested amount, meaning 1 extra ball.
This gives you some flexibility to match the color transitions nicely, especially at the top left and right edges of the neckline.

  • Crochet hook 3.0 mm and 3.5 mm
  • Sewing needle

Was meinst du?
