Knitting Pattern Cowl "Winterdream" - in double knitting

This super soft cowl tells the story of the little bear Tobi who always misses the snow as he is in winter rest. But how he wishes to see real snow, just for once! One day, his big dream comes true - cuddled closely to his Mummy, he spends a wonderful day in the magic winter forest.

This cowl is knitted in the Double Knitting Technique. Thus, it is extra soft and warm for your child, and it can be worn on both sides.

Gauge (double knitted with both colours):
23 sts x 36 R = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

Size of the cowl : approx. 56 cm / 18 cm

Please note : If you have a different gauge, the size of the finished cowl will be different, too!

• Yarn: Phildar Caresse (LL 146 m / 50 gr) approx. 50 gr Blue, approx. 40 gr White and approx. 15 gr Grey
  (for girls who don’t like Blue too much, you can alternatively use the colour Aubergine)

Alternatively you can use Lang Yarns Merino 150 or any yarn with similar yarn weight (fine / sport). Please try to meet the gauge as exactly as possible. Choose two colours with high contrast

• 3 mm (US 3) 60 cm circular needle
• 3 mm (US 3), or 2.5 mm (US 2) or 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle, at least 60 cm long
