Scarf "Tracks in the snow" - Double sided knitting pattern

With this scarf, your dinosaur fan will be ready for any expedition or search for tracks in the snow.
For young children I recommend the keyhole version as described in detail in this pattern. For older children or adults you can work the scarf longer and without keyhole.

This scarf is knitted in the double sided knitting technique. Thus, it is extra soft and warm, and it looks beautiful on both sides.

Required skills: double knitting in general

You will get three separate pdf documents:

• general instructions on how to knit the scarf
• knitting charts Part A and Part B for the motif

skills level: advanced

Gauge 28 stitches x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Size of the scarf will be approx. 14 cm x 86 cm. Lenght of the scarf is easily adjustable.

Please note : If you have a different gauge, the size of the finished scarf will be different, too!

• Hansa-Farm Alpacare® Baby Socks (75 % Alpaca (Baby) / 25 % Polyamid, 56 g = 210 m); about 50 g each in two different colours with high contrast; for a longer scarf, you will need more yarn accordingly
• 2 x circular needle 2.5 mm
• Darning needle
• Scissors
