Crafting for spring ... yes, which crafts make me dream of spring? It’s not far away now, just a few more weeks. So anyone who makes something beautiful now can enjoy it from the very first day of spring. Here are my suggestions. Warm greetings from Ina
Ball Gown for Small Dolls
Beautiful opulent dresses for the grand ball—the dream of every little doll mom. This one is crocheted and gets its shape from a sewn tulle underskirt underneath.
Triangular Shawl with Beaded Lace
A wonderful and elegant triangular shawl made from high-quality cashmere yarn with a lengthening effect. It has an edging of seed beads that we knit in.
Wrap Cardigan with Hat
Perfect for spring: not too thick, not too warm, but still reliably cozy because it’s made from soft merino wool. Both pieces will fit for a few months as baby grows.
Water Lily Cushion
If you crochet it now, you’ll already be enjoying it in spring. It catches everyone’s eye and is a beautiful decoration for the home or garden. It is made in two parts and buttons up with self-crocheted buttons.
Dreamy Princess Dress
Yes, this also makes us dream of spring: bright colors, beautiful dresses. You can crochet this one in different versions. I like the one with the seed beads on the edge best.
Summer Poncho
Yes, it may be called a summer poncho, but of course you can also wear it in spring. A simple pattern consisting of just 2 repeating pattern rows becomes a wonderfully relaxed garment.
Heart Cushion "African Flowers"
This is a joy even while crocheting. With the bright colors and ever-new color combinations, you can simply block out the dark season. In the end, you’ll have a wonderful one-of-a-kind heart-shaped cushion.
Summer Hat Emily
Well, of course you can wear it nicely in spring too, when the sun is shining from the sky. The ribbon you choose to match your clothing is threaded individually through the hat. That way, outfit and hat always go well together.
Feather-Light Loop Scarf
One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. I have the loop scarf in different colors, so I can always combine it with my other things. It is very light and airy and made from high-quality cashmere wool ... very light and cuddly soft. By the way, the beige color in the photo is easier to combine than you might think at first glance.
Scarf with Beaded Edge
Another spring classic. It is knitted from my favorite cashmere wool, which is extremely soft and cozy. At the ends there is a wide beaded edge with knitted-in seed beads. It looks very elegant because the beads are not flashy, but catch the light as you move.
Doll Clothing Swing Series
It’s also time for spring cleaning and a few new dresses in the wardrobe of the little dolls. You can make everything you see in the photo. All the models can be combined beautifully with one another.
White Short Poncho
It’s ideal for spring, because it can still be chilly then. You don’t want to put on a cardigan, you just throw on a poncho. This one is designed in such a way that the lower arms have enough freedom to, for example, still do something around the house or at the keyboard without the sleeve getting in the way.
Rustico Basket
A new decoration can’t hurt either. You can make the Rustico basket as large as you like, and you choose the colors yourself too. It gets its sturdy shape from a clothesline carried along as you work, but you can’t see it. The play of colors comes from working different yarns in parallel.
Poncho with Fringe
A lovely project for beginning knitters, because we knit only knit stitches and don’t have to weave in any ends. The poncho looks very casual when worn—just the thing for easygoing people. It keeps you warm because it is made of wool. But the wool helps regulate temperature, so you won’t sweat either.
Spring Scarves
This is a very creative project because we combine different yarns that go well together in color. In the end, we have a one-of-a-kind scarf where we don’t have to weave in any ends, because we knot the yarn ends into fringe. So it’s also a nice leftover-yarn project.
Free Pattern: Triangular Scarf and Pointed Hat
Finally, there is a
free pattern. You can knit the set for your children ages 2 to 4.
