Leftover yarn can be used for many things, for example baby wrist warmers.
Material: approx. 40 g of various leftovers. Needles size 3.5 and my pattern, and then you’re ready to get started. In the end, someone will be happy about the successful hand-knitted “piece”
The wrist warmers are intended for babies and knitted on two needles. Have fun

I always have leftover cotton yarn from my amigurumi projects. This time, I used it to knit something:
Summery slippers in sizes 37–39 and 40–42.

You’ll need:
  • Leftover cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g (approx. 60 g total),
  • 2 decorative buttons,
  • set of double-pointed needles and a 4.0 circular knitting needle,
  • a 3.0 crochet hook
Since no traditional heel is knitted here, the pattern is definitely suitable for beginners as well.

How about a crochet pattern for 6 different medals in the “Colorful Cross of Merit” design? ...The pattern is 6 pages long with pictures and text, and the medals are easy to make. You can use them to honor all sorts of deserving individuals, and the award ceremony is a big hit :-))

...and don't forget to honor the “superheroes” either—the slightly more elaborate medals, which look very elegant and are a lot of fun to make and present :-)

This scarf in patchwork technique is ideal for leftover yarn,
the squares are knitted together one by one, so you can knit each one in a different color
depending on the amount of leftover yarn, you can knit a scarf or even a blanket,

however, the yarn should all be about the same weight!
knitting with this technique is a lot of fun,

With just 25 g of fine acrylic yarn (e.g., “Peques for Baby” by Katia, 232 m per 50 g) and a set of size 2 double-pointed needles, you can knit this adorable ball gown for your children’s and grandchildren’s little dolls. You can knit the dress in a single color or in multiple colors. For multicolored dresses, even smaller amounts of leftover yarn—which you’re sure to find in your scrap bag—will suffice.

I hope you enjoy this pattern for this enchanting ball gown .
Warm regards—Yours, “Ina strickt”

When describing the “patchwork scarf,” what’s meant, of course, is: knitting with this technique is a lot of fun!

You can also use leftover yarn to knit these great spiral-patterned wrist warmers

They’re knitted with 2.5–3 mm needles!

If you’ve gotten a taste for it after knitting the ball gown from earlier and would like to knit even more doll clothes, I recommend the modern knitted doll clothes from the “Basics” line. Here, too, just a few grams of sock yarn (5 to 15 g, depending on the pattern) and a set of double-pointed needles size 2 or 2.5 are all you need to knit tops, hot pants, a dress, or flared pants. Individual, lovingly made doll clothes are right back on trend.

I hope you have fun knitting. Best regards – Yours, “Ina strickt”

My balloon cover is ideal for using up leftover yarn. How about making a granny square in a different color every now and then? In the end, you’ll have a colorful ball for the little ones. It’s also a practical craft project for your purse—you’ll always have a little something with you to crochet.

Both cotton and leftover sock yarn are suitable for this project.

The ball is filled with a balloon, so you can wash the cover quickly.

If you like my ball, you can find the pattern here.

Whether for a boy or a girl... these moccasins fit every baby!
And as so often: the button sets the trend!

Also an ideal project for using up leftovers. Finished in 1-2 hours!

The pattern is designed for a foot length of about 9 - 10 cm.
However, the included gauge makes it easy to make any size!
You will also find a chart for baby and children’s shoe sizes (incl. cm measurements) in the pattern.
In addition, the duplicate stitch is explained in detail and illustrated. (Owl)

They are a loose series of affordable patterns for which you really only need leftovers – whether sock yarn, merino yarn, cotton, or whatever else your leftovers box has to offer. The difficulty levels vary, but the patterns are written in the usual detailed way, so knitting beginners can use them to try out new techniques.

You’ll find more information in the respective patterns. So far there are three

Last-Minute Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy to knit

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Fun egg cozies, not just for Easter! An ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV, they make a last-minute little gift for any occasion.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in the round with a set of double-pointed needles. Embellishments can be added as you like and according to your own creativity.

Materials:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the ball band.

1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + little bits of leftover yarn for embellishing;
here: set of double-pointed needles 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “tying in hair”;
yarn needle for weaving in ends, possibly sewing needle and buttons, measuring tape, scissors.
Recommendation: safety eyes if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for small children.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Short pattern in text form, designed for yarns with approx. 105 m length per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, designed for yarns with approx. 85 m length per 50 g
each knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, size 4.0 (this makes the egg cozies nice and dense so they stand up on their own)

  • Photo tutorial “Embroidering with duplicate stitch
  • Photo tutorial        “tying in hair with a crochet hook"
  • Separate           PDF pattern for the “long-tail cast-on with two strands
