Dear Community,
Are you busy with your crafts and in real life too? Have you unraveled something, or maybe finished a UFO (unfinished object / craft project)? Have you stayed strong and not bought anything, or was the spring yarn (a popular excuse for buying yarn) quicker?
Dear Josefa,
I don’t have much time for crafting this week. I have guests coming over, birthdays to celebrate, cakes to bake, and grandkids to watch. But I always have to make a little time for crafting—it helps me relax.
I actually finished a UFO. Back in April, I’d started a patchwork-style kids’ bag—and yesterday, after several attempts, I finally finished it. Some UFOs never get finished, but this one made it :-)
Best regards, Ina

Hahaha, yeah, started a project (crochet sweater), unraveled it, started over, unraveled it again—somehow I just don’t like crocheting sweaters, even though there are so many great patterns out there. So I thought it over and gave it another try, this time knitting a raglan in stockinette stitch, since the yarn “creates” its own pattern and you don’t have to think while knitting. Now I just have the sleeves left to do, also in the round without a seam—I’ve tried it on a few times, and it fits. ;-)
Best regards, Regina

In my yarn life, I’ve been a bit lazy lately and am still working on the little bear, but I’ve gotten a lot done in real life—that has to happen sometimes too. I still have a few appointments coming up, but then I’ll actually have a completely empty to-do list.
I’ve already been thinking about the colder season and crocheted a warm hat:

Big enough to fit over my hair when it’s pinned up with a barrette.
Hi Veronika, an empty to-do list is a nice thing to have every once in a while. I’m also working at a leisurely pace right now—and pretty slowly. You have to do nothing at all and feel bored every now and then—most people can’t do that anymore these days—but I still can ;-). Good luck with your appointments—hopefully nothing but good things!
Best, Regina
Thanks, Regina. There are some good things and a few necessary but annoying ones—as is usually the case. I’m still waiting for the results of a biopsy; it might end up being a bad news appointment, but I’m just hoping it isn’t.
Hi Veronika, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be okay.
Best wishes, Regina
