Weekend: Do You Have Plans?

Dear community,

I hope you have a lovely weekend. Do you have plans, or simply time for crafting?

I’d also like to wish everyone a wonderful weekend. 

I don’t have any plans. The weather isn’t exactly inviting right now—the temperatures aren’t high enough to go to a festival, an open-air movie theater, or a beer garden in the evening. It was already pretty chilly out on the patio yesterday.

So I’ll be spending my time working on my embroidered picture and my crochet shawl.

I’m going to finish up a pattern this weekend so I can send it to my test crocheters. Other than that, I don’t have anything planned. Maybe I’ll order some yarn… actually, I’m only missing two skeins for a mesh bag that I started with leftover yarn, but now I don’t want to finish it with such a colorful mix after all. Those two skeins will surely be joined by many others, which is why I’m putting off ordering for now. It’s not like I don’t have any yarn at home…

Since it’s pouring rain nonstop, it’s time to stay indoors. I don’t mind at all—I’m using up the rest of my cotton stash. One little bear is already finished, and I’ve started on the second one.

I can’t be running around much anyway—I just had another pigment spot removed, this time on the side of my knee. How annoying! So putting my feet up and crocheting is the perfect solution.
