Theres only a short time till the little reindeers go out to grace your home or the christmas tree and to support Santa Claus.

With this crochet pattern you may crochet your own little reindeer. You may use it as a little gift in advent or as an individual christmas decoration.

Its big brother you may find right here as amigurumi. It may also be crocheted as a music box, toddler toy with different rattle elements or as cuddly toy.

So it is appropriated for beginners in crocheting who still know the basics of crocheting (single crochet, continuous rounds, chains, slip stitches, half double crochet). For the scarf there is needed some expert knowledge, but there are many pictures for your support and you may contact me.

The finished reindeer will be about 10 cm - it depends a little on the used material and on the individual tightness while crocheting.

• combed and mercerized cotton yarn (125m/50g - 5 ply – fine - sport weight) in cream or taupe (ca. 20g) as well as little amounts (< 5g) of dark-red, dark brown, contrast color (cream or taupe), white
• crochet hook (2,5 mm)
• tapestry needle for weaving yarn tails
• polyester fiberfill
• two safety eyes (7,5 mm)
• decorative rivet or button for the scarf
