Rudolph - the Red Nosed Reindeer

Product description

When I started to design this pattern, it would meant to be a "normal" elk. Then christmas time arrived and I was inspired to make a red nose - so it changed his name and became Rudolph - The Red Nosed Elk.

It may be used as christmas decoration and amigurumi but it is also big enough to be filled with different toy elements as oven back for crackling, rattles and even music boxes.

There is also a little reindeer in my shop and actually you may get both crochet patterns in a bundle - have fun while crocheting :)

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

This crochet pattern includes 9 pages with a lot of pictures for the details.

So it is appropriated for beginners in crocheting who still know the basics of crocheting (single crochet, continuous rounds, chains, slip stitches, half double crochet).

If you'll need any support you may contact me.

Size Information

The finished reindeer will be about 35 cm in the lenght while lying - it depends a little on the used material and on the individual tightness while crocheting.

Materials List

  • combed and mercerized cotton yarn (125m/50g - 5 ply – fine - sport weight) in "brown“ or “taupe“ (< 100g), “dark brown“, “dark red“ (< 50g), little amounts of “white” and “black”
  • crochet hook (2,5 mm)
  • tapestry needle for weaving yarn tails
  • polyester fiberfill
  • two safety eyes (13,5 mm)
  • optionally: oven bag for crackling effects, a little rattle, music box

This crochet pattern is strictly for individual, non-commercial use. Copy, distribution or commercial use of this pattern or any of its parts are not allowed.

Very cute and an enjoyable pattern.
I found the instructions on this pattern easy to follow therefore making it enjoyable to crochet. Very pleased with results of the two reindeer I made. I made one each for my friends twins as they are boy and girl I made one with red nose and scarf and the with pink! They love them.

Bitte bleibt fair!
