Today I’ll show you some crochet patterns for little animals, namely finger puppets. You can crochet them quite quickly from just a few bits of leftover yarn, and they’re especially popular with younger kindergarten children who can’t yet handle the larger hand puppets very well.

Farm Animal Finger Puppets
You can crochet 5 different farm animals with this pattern: cow, pig, sheep, horse, and goat. With them, you can act out lots of funny farm stories.

Hedgehog Couple Finger Puppets
The two little hedgehogs Anny and Bruno are enthusiastic gardeners. They also make a great gift for hobby gardeners. If you like, you can also hide a few seed packets inside the finger sleeve and give them along with it.

Bunny Family Finger Puppets
Here comes a whole bunny family that will bring lots of joy and fun, and not just at Easter time.

Go exploring with Dino Pauli ..... Pauli is crocheted from two pieces, which are crocheted together at the end with a row of single crochet. This makes Pauli a lovely playmate even for the very little ones, since no small parts can come loose. 



This little bunny is also crocheted from a front and back piece, which are then joined together with a round of single crochet. Only the little stubby tail needs to be sewn on separately. 



A lovely gift for bunny lovers is this dishcloth. You only need to know knit and purl stitches, making it a nice practice project for beginners too. 

Whales are included, too! And you can cuddle these ones endlessly!
