Green, Blue + Turquoise: Make Projects in the Colors of the Sky and Sea

The mermaid outfit for little fashion dolls looks especially beautiful in the ocean colors of blue, green, and turquoise. The fishtail is very easy to crochet, as are the floral top and the hair accessories. Just a few leftover yarns are all you need. If you’d like, you can embellish everything with small seed beads or sequins. Then the little mermaids will look especially elegant.

A 10-piece vacation wardrobe in shades of turquoise for the little dolls: sun hat, beach bag, bikini top, bikini bottoms, hot pants, long skirt, tunic, spaghetti-strap top, Carmen blouse, and capri pants. Everything goes together beautifully and can be mixed and matched. Schachenmayr cotton yarn (Catania) was used here, but you can also use other leftover yarn.

But we adults love aqua colors in the summer, too. Here you can see a knitted sweater with a V-neck. The “Blue Lagoon” sweater is knitted with sock yarn in a simple lace pattern. This makes it wonderfully light and suitable for wearing both in summer and on cool winter days (with a shirt underneath). The pattern covers sizes 36–46.
