Triangular Scarf "Aquamarine" – Crochet Pattern

Product description

This modern, airy triangular shawl is crocheted from the side. It consists of a sophisticated lace pattern.

I wanted to create a shawl that is crocheted from the side and is still symmetrical. I also wanted it to contain small circles, based on my square triangular shawl. After a lot of fiddling and ribbing, I ended up with this beautiful pattern - a combination of X stitches, chain stitches and single crochet stitches.

The lace pattern makes the shawl wonderfully loose and soft. It is therefore super comfortable and can be worn in many different ways.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The pattern may seem a little tricky at first, but after a few rows it is really easy to crochet. The instructions are very precise (X stitches are explained step by step), with lots of step-by-step pictures, text and crochet diagram.

Suitable for beginners.

Previous knowledge required: Chain stitches, single crochet and double crochet.

Size Information

The finished scarf has a length of approx. 170 cm and a height of approx. 75 cm. However, you can enlarge the shawl as much as you like with more yarn.

Materials List

  • The crochet scarf can be crocheted with a wide variety of wool.
    Here used: Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON
    (4 threads with 50% cotton, 50% acrylic, LL = 800 m {approx. 875 yds} / 200 g {approx. 7 oz})
in desired color (used here: 1 Bobbel in Color No. 09)
  • Crochet hook 3.0 mm
  • Sewing needle
