These dishcloths or washcloths (depending on the yarn used) are very quick to make and super easy to knit—you only need to know how to knit and purl stitches and count a little. In the patterns, every row is written out stitch by stitch. If you prefer to work from a counting pattern, you can use the knitting chart.

You’ll find 2 mini patterns from me that are perfect as keychains or bag charms. Both look great no matter which color you choose and are just the thing for using up your leftover yarn.

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting them.

For this crocheted dishcloth / trivet / potholder, even small amounts of leftover yarn are enough.

The pattern spans one row, and the pattern is shown as a knitting chart and explained in writing.

Knitted dishcloths - these also use very little yarn, giving your leftovers a lovely purpose.

I like to give dishcloths like these as gifts with a matching coffee mug or dish towel.

Bookmarks are always a good beginner project, because they’re quick to finish and always make an impression! Bookworms are happy to have lots of colorful bookmarks.

The Ghost Bookmark is a great gift for anyone who loves spooky stories, and it’s truly easy enough for absolute beginners to crochet. Here you can practice regular increases and decreases.

The 3 Easter Bookmarks are also easy for beginners to manage. When crocheting the heads, you’ll practice crocheting in spiral rounds. The "body" consists only of chain stitches.

Once you have a little more practice, you can try the Frog King Bookmark
. This one is also crocheted in rounds. You’re sure to make fairy-tale fans very happy with it.

If you take medication, vitamins, or other supplements daily, this simple pill organizer could save you a lot of hassle: Once you’ve placed your tablets, capsules, or coated tablets into the boxes for each day of the week once a week, all you have to do is pull out the right box on the respective day and empty it.

The box is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 22.6 x 2 x 4.3 cm in total; the individual drawer compartments measure approximately 3.3 x 2 x 4.3 cm—so there’s plenty of room even for larger pills. The box is very easy to make and is well suited for beginners.

With about half a ball of leftover yarn (I used a cotton-bamboo blend), even beginners can knit these pretty washcloths. You’ll only need knit and purl stitches.
