And because many of you also enjoy crocheting, I’ll share my trend recommendations for 2021 in the area of crochet items, too. Some things will simply stay trendy and popular in the new year as well. I hope you have lots of fun window-shopping and making them yourself.
Best wishes - Ina
Round Rug Kunterbunt
Each rug becomes one of a kind thanks to the colors and color combinations, and a very special eye-catcher in a child’s room or hallway.
Skirt with Flounce and Matching Top
The skirt length is variable; anything from short to long is possible. The skirt and the matching top close at the back with snap fasteners.
Large Round Basket with Bobbles
It looks attractive and is practical, too. I especially like the bobbles and the wide fold-over edge.
Colorful Craft Bucket
Another practical accessory. We crochet an all-around little cover for a standard plastic bucket. There are little pockets all around the sides for our crochet tools. The current project goes into the bucket, so you always have everything together and can move from A to B with it, too.
Ball Gown with Tulle Underskirt for Small Dolls
This is probably the most lavish dress in my shop. Sewing the tulle underneath does make it a little more work, but it also makes it look especially fairy-tale-like. My 5-year-old granddaughter has chosen it as her favorite dress.
Favorite Heart
That will always be and remain a trend. A heart is simply a very special symbol that says what you feel even without words. You can give it to someone dear as a good-luck charm if they are ill, for example, or going on a trip. Or you can crochet it for yourself as a keychain.
Water Lily Cushion
This is an eye-catcher in any child’s room or in the garden. The 3D water lily blossom simply draws every eye. The cushion consists of 2 parts that are buttoned together with crocheted buttons.
Nightdress and Jacket for Small Dolls
The slim dress has a shaped bustier so that it fits well. There is also a matching little jacket. But the outfit can also be worn during the day; it’s much too pretty just for sleeping.
Doorstop “Sandbag”
It has a weighty interior made of 4 kg of small pebbles. That’s why it stays right where it is and keeps any door from slamming shut. Drafts no longer stand a chance.
Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares
Blankets are always on trend. This one is fun even while you’re crocheting it. First we crochet lots of identical colorful squares. Then we crochet them together. Quickly add a border around it, and your individual one-of-a-kind piece is finished.
Doll Clothes “Fresh Summer Fashion”
You can crochet all 6 models that the dolls in the photo are wearing. The colors stay just as bright even after washing. Everything can be wonderfully mixed and matched. If you start now, you’ll be finished right on time for spring/summer. Then the doll mommies can play with them to their hearts’ content.
Cushion Cover “African Flowers”
This is also a trend classic. We crochet lots of different hexagons. Then we crochet them together to make a cushion cover. Each cushion becomes one of a kind because of the colors and color combinations, and it will be an eye-catcher in any child’s room or on the garden bench.
Doll Clothes for Summer
And here’s another pretty, trendy doll clothing model. This time there is a wide, swingy skirt, a top, and a bolero to crochet. Lovely too, isn’t it?
Square Colorful Rug
You can crochet it in any size. The pattern always stays the same. Each rug becomes one of a kind because everyone uses and combines different colors. A lovely crochet project that I really enjoyed making. My grandson got this light blue-green one for in front of his little bed.
Dreamy Princess Dress
Before I came up with the dress with tulle, this one was my 5-year-old granddaughter’s favorite dress. It, too, embodies the idea of a princess. If you want to play princess, the dolls have to be wearing princess dresses too. You can make it in different versions. I like the one with the rocaille bead edging best.
