Sewing machine - bobbin problem

Hello,

Just bought the Silvercrest Lidl machine this morning, probably a bit silly since I haven't used one since home ec class 20 years ago. Coudl do all the basics with the instructions but then when I did some test sewing the material got stuck under the flat part and when I pulled out the bobbin there was thread everywhere stuck. 
According to the instructions and the troubleshooting, I figured out the bobbin thread was too tight so it said to loosen tension with the little crew on the side. I did but then loosed it too much and the screw fell out, I have spent the last two hours trying to put the screw back into the bobbin, and now give up I just can't get it in its too tiny and fiddley.....ready to throw whole thing out the window now...help someone do I need to buy a new bobbin case where?

Please help.
