Notes:
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all parts are crocheted in continuous (spiral) rounds, even if the pattern says something like "3 rounds of sc."
The numbers at the beginning of each step indicate the row or round number.
The number in parentheses at the end of each step shows the total number of stitches at the end of that step.
Body:
Start with 2 chains or a magic ring.

Skirt (crocheted in joined rounds)
Note: Since the skirt is crocheted in two colors, there is a color change every 2 rounds (except at the very beginning). You can tell which color to use from the round label, marked with a D (= dark) or L (= light).
Also, the skirt is worked in joined rounds, meaning each round starts with a chain stitch and ends with a slip stitch into the first stitch of that round.
(5)(5).png)
Pattern excerpt for the skirt – each row worked with treble crochets (dc) into the front loop, and each row with single crochets (sc) into the back loop.

Arms and Legs:
These parts are not crocheted; instead, we make 4 cords. I will try to describe this as clearly as possible. If you need further help, feel free to contact me via Crazypatterns. Alternatively, there are many helpful videos on YouTube.
For the arms, you need 2 threads each, about 50 cm long; for each leg, 4 threads about 60 cm long. Lay the threads side by side so that the ends are even.
Also, cut 4 more threads about 20 cm long — these will be used for tying off.
Now take one “arm,” meaning 2 threads, and go to a door handle. Wrap the threads once around the handle, so you now hold 4 threads in your hand. Twist the threads continuously in one direction until they can’t twist anymore. Place a finger approximately in the middle of the threads (hold the ends tightly until tying off!). Bend the twisted threads around this finger and pull the ends off the door handle so you have all ends in one hand.
Remove the finger from the bend. Smooth out the curls a little, then tie the ends with one of the short prepared threads. Repeat this until you have 4 cords finished.
(23)(1).png)
Hands:
2 chains or magic ring.
Round 1: 6 sc (6)
Round 2: sc (6)
Round 3: inc every 2nd stitch (9)
Round 4: sc (9)
Round 5: inc every 3rd stitch (12)
Rounds 6–7: 2 rounds sc (12)
Round 8: crochet every 1st and 2nd stitch together (6)
Slip stitch into the next stitch, cut the yarn — do not close the small hole!
(22)(1).png)
Feet:
2 chains or magic ring.
Round 1: 6 sc (6)
Round 2: sc (6)
Round 3: inc every 2nd stitch (9)
Round 4: sc (9)
Round 5: inc every 3rd stitch (12)
Round 6: sc (12)
Round 7: inc every 4th stitch (15)
Round 8: sc (15)
Round 9: inc every 5th stitch (18)
Round 10: sc (18)
Round 11: crochet every 2nd and 3rd stitch together (12)
Round 12: crochet every 1st and 2nd stitch together (6)
Slip stitch into the next stitch, cut the yarn — do not close the small hole here either!
Finishing
First, pull the eyes inward on the head. For this, take a yarn in the color of your head (I used a different color in the pictures just for visibility) and insert the needle from the bottom of the head, where the neck will later be attached. Now, bring the needle out of the head just to the left of the left eye. Next, insert the needle again just to the right of the left eye and pull it out one stitch below the entry point at the bottom of the head. Make sure the yarn disappears behind the eye on top (it should now lie directly over the safety eye’s post).
(11)(8).png)
Note: This is just an example; the colors and eye placement do not correspond to those of Flora!
Repeat the same process with the other eye. You will now have 4 yarn ends coming out at the future neck area.
Gently pull all 4 yarn ends evenly — the eyes will now be pulled inward and downward.
Once you’ve reached the desired depth, first tie the 2 yarn ends of one eye securely together, then do the same for the other eye, and finally tie all the ends together.
(12)(7).png)
Now your head should look like the picture below the Head section and can be sewn onto the body.
(12)(8).png)
Next, we join the hair. Sew the large hair pieces together halfway, and do the same with the medium hair pieces.
(7)(5).png)
(8)(7).png)
Also, sew one flower base onto each side of the middle flower.
(18)(3).png)
The hair is then attached to the head, starting with the large pieces, followed by the medium ones, and finally the middle flower. To make the hair stand out from the bottom of the head, sew them only halfway on again.
(13)(6).png)
The middle "hair wreath" is sewn flush in the center onto the large "hair wreath." This creates a hole that is then closed with the middle flower.
(19)(1).png)
(20)(1).png)
Now you can embroider fine lines on each individual petal using the other color.
(21)(2).png)
Now it’s time for the arms and legs.
Stuff the fringed ends of the cords (for example, using the back of a crochet hook) into the small holes we left open. Make sure both arms and both legs are about the same length. Then sew the hole closed with the tail yarn from the hands and feet, securing the stuffed cord inside. After that, flatten the hands and feet and fix them in this shape with a few stitches.
(24)(1).png)
Afterwards, embroider the leaf veins using a contrasting color.
(25)(1).png)
Arms and legs are now finished and can be sewn onto the body. I attached the arms directly at the transition between the head and the body.
(26)(1).png)
(27)(1).png)
The legs are attached to the fold line of the body at about the same distance as the eyes.
(29)(1).png)
(28)(1).png)
Now you just need to sew the small flowers onto the skirt (it’s best to turn it inside out for this) and sew the collar / calyx once around the neck.
(33)(1).png)
Your little flower soul Flora is finished! Have fun with her!
