Dear users, dear authors,
On Tuesday we had some hard-working little helpers
, on Wednesday we counted stitches
, and on Friday we’re starting a new weekend project.
Today I’d like to know: are you doing crafts or taking it easy? Are you still—or back to—being productive, are you still counting stitches, or are you treating yourself to a break?
Let me know.
At the moment, I often spend my free time lazing on the sofa in front of the TV.
But that doesn’t stop me from crocheting on the side :)
I still wouldn’t call that “hardworking.”
I haven’t had time for crafts today. But I wasn’t lazing around—I was out in the meadow picking up apples. I’m going to turn those in for juice.
Later, I’m heading to Bohlen. If I’m still in the mood, I’ll crochet a few more rows.
I’m going through a bit of a slump right now. I still have my blanket on the knitting needles, but I can’t bring myself to keep going at the moment because it’s just too warm. I’m lacking a new idea right now, since I only have two big projects in mind—both of which are very warm and therefore planned for fall and winter.
I’m going to rummage through my leftover yarn right away (there isn’t much left, after all).
Definitely crafting—I’ve really been neglecting that lately, and besides, lounging around isn’t really my thing; I’m always active in one way or another :-)
I’m about to make pear juice—besides all the apples, we also have lots of little pears in the garden, barely bigger than plump plums, but super delicious.
I couldn’t agree more, because when I’m crafting, my housework gets put on hold too. Right now, I’m crafting on my way to work, on my way home, sometimes at work when there’s nothing else to do, and at home in front of the TV instead of doing housework, which then gets left undone. I think I’ve become addicted to crafting?
Hahha... I’m happy to join in on that. I also prefer to knit or crochet, and I’ll happily put other things aside for it. As soon as I have my hands free and my mind clear—before I know it, the needles are in my hands. ;-)
My husband sometimes says, “All you think about is your yarn stuff,” but I really only start crafting once all the household chores are done. Over the past two weeks, though, things have been very tidy around here, since our little one is still on Ameland until tomorrow and our older one is on vacation but has spent almost all his time at his girlfriend’s. Starting tomorrow, chaos will probably reign here again, and my crafting time will be cut to a minimum.
