Crochet pattern for a loop scarf

How about a simple loop scarf for the period between late summer and early fall?

Crocheted from yarn with a length of approx. 280 m per 50 grams, this project fits easily into your bag for when you’re on the go.

The crochet pattern works over 2 rounds and is explained in writing, round by round, with pictures in the pattern. You should already know how to crochet double crochets, chain stitches, and slip stitches.

When I’m on the go, I like to crochet something simple that requires as few colors and as little yarn as possible.

Pot holders are perfect for that. Here are two examples:
This heart-shaped pot holder practically crochets itself. You’ll quickly get the hang of the popcorn stitch (explained in detail in the pattern), and the increases and decreases are very regular, so you don’t need to concentrate too hard. If you’d like, you can also turn it into a heat pack cover instead of a pot holder: Just leave out the hanging loop and insert a heat pack at the bottom; you might also want to add a Velcro strip or snap fastener to close it.

Here’s another heart-shaped pot holder, this time in a fairground style:

This pot holder is very easy to crochet. It’s also crocheted in double layers so you can slip your hand inside. You can customize the message in “icing lettering” to make the pot holder a very personal gift.

This circular collar only needs 1 (leftover) skein of thin cotton yarn and a 40 cm circular needle. You can take it anywhere.

It's so easy to knit with the pattern that you can do it even as a beginner. You should have basic skills.

For this headband in a pretty waffle pattern, you only need leftover yarn and 2 needles from a set of double-pointed needles. There’s always room for that.

It’s very easy; the pattern explains it very well, even if you’re a beginner with basic skills.

The colors can be changed, and any size is possible—even for adults.

The Beauty Cosmetic Set is great to crochet on the go.

The two different textures of the pads are easy to memorize and are finished in no time.
The travel/laundry net is also quick and easy to crochet.
The reversible basket, as the most elaborate part, is also suitable for on the go, but you can also make it later at home or once you’ve arrived at your travel destination.

You’ll need cotton yarn (Favorite Colors No.2)
in 4 different colors, crochet hook size 3
darning needle and scissors
and the pattern.
No stuffing or other accessories.
Depending on how long the trip lasts, you can crochet lots of colorful pads and confidently leave the cotton pads you would otherwise have needed for your facial cleansing at home (or better yet, in the store)!

The phone sleeve requires very little yarn and therefore takes up hardly any space in your purse or backpack.
This one fits the Galaxy S6 .
It can easily be adjusted to fit other smartphones.

The sleeve comes in four different color combinations, so variety is guaranteed.
If you don’t need a phone sleeve, it can also be used as a glasses case .

Use 5 g each of 3-ply yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic) in white, green, pink, and light pink with size 2–2.5 knitting needles in the doubleface technique.

The two-page PDF pattern with a diagram is suitable for experienced knitters.

Feather-Light Loop

These cozy, soft loops are the ideal knitting projects for on the go. I take a 30-minute ride on the regional train to work every day. During that time, I like to work on a more intricate yet lightweight project—like this loop here. It’s very easy and straightforward to knit. The cashmere yarn for this loop, which weighs just 50 g when finished, always fits in my bag. You can find more information by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy it. Best regards—Ina

“African Flowers” Cushion Cover

It’s hard to believe, but this beautiful cushion is made up of lots of individual hexagons that are crocheted together at the end. And these many individual pieces are perfect for crocheting on the go—whether you’re on vacation at the beach somewhere and have the time and leisure for crafting, or you have to sit in a waiting room somewhere. There’s always room for this small craft project. You’ll find more information by clicking on the heading.

If you have even more stamina, you can also make a baby blanket from the individual pieces.

I wish you lots of joy with your projects—yours, Ina

Small and easy to knit — and very practical for the coming fall days, too! A headband! It's really easy; you should know how to knit and purl stitches.

You can find the pattern here.

This shawl isn't quite that mini — you should plan on at least 1 skein of sock yarn — but it's a wonderful knitting project to take with you, because you don't have to think much while working on it and you can set it aside at any time without having to spend a long time figuring out where you were in the pattern afterward. The ideal travel project!

Here’s the pattern!

When I'm out and about, my favorite things to knit are arm warmers and wrist warmers, because you usually only need 1–2 balls of yarn and a set of double-pointed needles—and that fits in (almost) any handbag!
Here I'd like to introduce you to one of my most popular designs:

CLAIRE Arm Warmers:

With their classic cable pattern, they seem to have come straight from the Scottish Highlands and bring to mind green meadows, old castles, and of course the TV series Outlander. Made from fluffy, soft alpaca yarn, they are a warming dream for all cold hands!

You can find the knitting pattern here: CLAIRE Arm Warmers

Happy knitting from
Annette
