What comes to mind when we think of the Scottish Highlands? Green meadows, magical landscapes and of course - the traditional Celtic cable patterns!
The wristlets CLAIRE are a fine and quick project. The cables in this pattern are not too complicated - making them a wonderful entrance into the world of braided patterns!
The shaft, on the other hand, is worked in a delicate and very simple textured pattern that leaves the stage to the Celtic pattern. I used a wonderfully soft alpaca yarn here, but the pattern is of course also quite suitable for merino yarns.
