Who said that beginners can't knit a shawl? It's not true at all, give it a try!

This is a very simple shawl worked from the bottom to the top. No purl stitches are involved. Although written for the use of fingering weight yarn, the pattern works in any yarn that you have on your hands. Knit the shawl to any desired size or until you run out of yarn.

Difficulty level: easy (knit, yarn overs, easy increases)

Yarn: ONline Supersocke Silk Color (55% wool, 25% nylon, 20% silk; 400m/100g; 437yds/3.53oz), 1 – 2 balls. Sample in a size of 140 x 48cm (56 x 19 1/4in) used exactly 1 ball.

Needles: 3.5mm/US 4 circular needles

Notions: yarn needle

Gauge: 22 stitches/44 rows in garter stitch = 10cm/4in. Gauge is not important.

Size: can be worked to any size.
