1. Little Lamb
A favorite to crochet time and time again: the fluffy little lamb made from plush yarn (of course, any other yarn will work too) and single crochet stitches. If you use thick yarn, you can even add a music box.
2. Kitten .
This black-and-white kitten is also crocheted from plush yarn using single crochet stitches. Here, too, you can add a music box if you’d like.
3. Shells
Crocheted seashells make a pretty decoration for the bathroom, balcony, or sunroom—and you can easily make them using any leftover yarn. Use pastel colors or yarn with a subtle color gradient to make them look especially realistic.
4. Mermaid Outfit for Barbie
Another nautical theme, but of a completely different kind! Little girls are fascinated by mermaids. And of course, Barbie has to become one too! The pattern is very easy, making this project perfect even for crochet beginners.
5. Moose Keychain
The little moose with the red nose isn’t just for the holiday season. It can be crocheted very quickly and easily from a little leftover yarn and can serve as a keychain, bag charm, gift tag, or Christmas tree ornament.

Hello everyone

My number 1

Knit socks without an annoying heel 38/39

For this you need 100 g of sock yarn and a set of double-pointed needles for yarn size 3.0. And of course my pattern.

My number 2

Warm, cozy baby hat with gloves

For this you need 100 g of yarn for needle size 5.0, or you can take thin yarn for needle size 3.0 and combine it, as I did here.
Knitting for babies is such a lovely thing.

And here is number 3

        Quick hat for preemies

It knits up quickly and nestles warmly and lightly around the little head.
You need about 40 g of yarn, size 3.0. It has to be sock yarn, because it washes well, which is very important.

Now my number 4
Diaper pants for 28-30 cm dolls

The diaper pants are sewn and a must-have for the dolls. The doll mommy will be absolutely delighted.

Hi there, here are my TOP 5

Place 1 - still - must-have:

Crocheted Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat
for the model shown, with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm, made from approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m (crochet hook 6.0)
for various styles, so ONE hat model wearable in all the shown variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

  • no gauge swatch (it doesn't depend on the exact cm),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for all yarns of your choice
  • possible in all sizes.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else, including slip stitches, is explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A crochet pattern for a matching infinity scarf for this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

************************************************

Place 2:

Conversion table for yarn amounts, alternative yarn for knitting and crocheting

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting a yarn amount from the "original yarn" to a desired "alternative yarn".

Example:
The original yarn specified in a pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this "original yarn" for your size. But you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). The yarn you have chosen has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. You enter this information in the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required amount of your chosen yarn in skeins and grams.

A gauge swatch is always advisable. To determine the number of stitches needed for your individual knitted piece, the simple version of my Excel conversion table for your gauge is included as a bonus.

Technical note:
To open an Excel spreadsheet, a so-called spreadsheet program such as Excel, LibreOffice (available free of charge http://de.libreoffice.org/) or OpenOffice (available free of charge http://www.openoffice.org/de/) must be installed. Open the file with a double-click, and if the message "Protected View" appears, please click "Enable Editing"

************************************************

Place 3: the popular
Sock-knitting course for 4-ply yarn - all sizes for baby, children's, women's and men's socks

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

.. little and big feet alike will be delighted with the results..

This is an illustrated sock-knitting course based on baby socks size 15, knitted from 4-ply sock yarn, with tables for all sizes

Included in the download :

  • detailed illustrated main PDF pattern
  • handwritten sketches
  • baby sock table for sizes 15 - 20
  • sock table for sizes 22 - 47
Material:
4-ply sock yarn (wonderfully soft options include, for example, Ferner "Lungauer Sockengarn" merino sock yarns or Austermann "Step" with aloe vera and jojoba or "Comfort" with cashmere)

  • approx. 15 g for the baby socks,
  • approx. 10 g for the baby mittens,
  • for adult socks up to size 44: 100 g,
  • if larger than size 44, then 150 g are required.
Set of double-pointed needles 2.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

***************************************

Place 4:

Knitted shirt/sweater 'ALGARVE'

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Two in one pattern:sleeveless long shirt, ideal with leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern . Because of the pattern, it comes out as ONE SIZE for women's sizes 38 - 44. Smaller sizes can wear it as "oversized". Weight gain and loss are therefore no problem.

Material:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5 – 3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not absolutely required. Gauge according to ball band: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery (see above); no additional images are included due to the simple cut.

Basic knitting skills are sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, left-leaning decrease over 2 knit stitches (explained).

******************************************

Place 5: this timeless

Knitted poncho/stole, featherlight - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - pattern and cut are absolutely suitable for beginners.

This is a short pattern for a featherlight and very easy-to-knit poncho in one size, made from only 100 g KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend (lace) yarns without mohair, since mohair is almost impossible to unravel.

The PDF pattern contains the preview image.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho with thick wool, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. The required yarn amount is then approx. 700 g. The number of stitches always depends on your individual gauge. To convert your individual gauge, I recommend my blog post: Converting gauge - here's how..

Required knitting skills:
cast-on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

Wishing you lots of fun with all your projects.

Hello dear crochet hook friends, here come Flima’s Top 5

In 1st place

The cute, funny little sheep that protect you and your hands from the Big Bad Wolf called “Hot Pot.”

Not only practical but also especially decorative.
They are something special in every color, and the finishing touch in your kitchen.
And not only there—also just right as a gift with the:
“Ooooh, they’re so cute” factor .

The sheep are quick to crochet, the material usage is low, and these funny little fellows can also make  room in the leftover yarn box .
The detailed pattern with plenty of pictures also makes it easy for beginners to make the sheep.

You can find the pattern here

In 2nd place

From the Flima nursery: the amaryllis.

It blooms in your favorite colors and needs no complicated care.
A pretty decoration, an unusual gift that is sure to delight.

The material usage is low, so leftover yarn in your favorite colors is also suitable. You will also need:
  • floral wire,
  • wrapping wire
  • green crepe tape
  • a little stuffing for the bulb,
Even beginners will discover their “green thumb” with the thorough, detailed pattern full of pictures.

Get the “growing” pattern (crochet pattern) here

In 3rd place

Place 3 of the Top 5 also comes from the Flima nursery.
The poinsettia

This  poinsettia is not only a lovely decoration but also a gift that brings joy.

It is relatively quick to crochet, taking about 1.5–2 hours.

The 10-page pattern with 49 step-by-step photos shows in great detail how this poinsettia is made and also makes it easy for beginners to follow this pattern.

The poinsettia will be about 20 cm tall with the pot and 16 cm in diameter (depending on yarn and hook size). The material usage is low, so leftover yarn can also be used. A pattern for a flower bowl is included free of charge.

You can download the pattern here

If it comes from the heart, you’re exactly right with 4th place .

The two-color woven heart

A pretty heart with lots of possibilities.

A gift idea that needs no words, a decoration of a special kind, or as original packaging for small gifts—there are endless uses, and a “WOW” effect is always guaranteed.

It is quick to crochet, and even beginners can easily make this heart.
Also very well suited for using up leftover yarn. A clever idea that can be freely designed in your favorite colors.

The heart consists of two parts that are woven into each other. The detailed pattern shows step by step how the heart is crocheted and woven.

You can download this “heartfelt” greeting here

5th place

This 3D flower appliqué is a floral greeting of a very special kind, a real gem.

There are endless uses. As an appliqué, table decoration, and ...and... and.

A highlight in every color combination, and ideal for using up leftover yarn.

Variable in size (depending on wool/yarn and hook size) and color design, this 3D flower appliqué adapts to any desired object and is that special extra…. the finishing touch on your projects.

The detailed pattern with over 60 step-by-step pictures is very thorough, so even beginners can take on this challenge.

You can download this 3D flower here
