Dear users, dear authors,
the week is over. The crafting fun can begin.
Here in this thread you’ll find patterns that are great to make from Friday to Sunday. Relaxation and fun guaranteed.

@Authors,
all authors can present their patterns here. 2–3 patterns per author are enough.
A link and image, as well as text with all the necessary info (difficulty level, material, technique, what makes the pattern special), should be included.

Jacques the kitten and his friend Alois the little fox have nothing but mischief on their minds. These little rascals are knitted up in a flash, and you won’t need much yarn either. The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and includes plenty of step-by-step photos and technique explanations. That would make a great weekend project, wouldn’t it?

The pattern for my loop promises a fun weekend of crocheting. It’s made using double crochet stitches, chain stitches, and slip stitches. If you’ve mastered these stitches, you’ll have it finished by Monday morning and can show it off at work right away.

Crocheted with a lightweight yarn such as Schachenmayr Tahiti, LL 280 m/ 50 g, hook size 4, 50 g is enough to make a piece with a circumference of approx. 58 cm and a height of 29 cm.

The pattern is 8 pages long, and many pictures explain the pattern in detail.

With some TRENDS, you just have to join in...
Known by the name "Katniss' Cowl," this asymmetrical soul warmer has truly become a "MUST HAVE."
We have modified the original version a little.

This project can easily be finished over the weekend, and we can still follow the movie in the evening ;-)

The pattern is designed for size 38/40.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to work any size!

You will also find a detailed chart in the pattern, which makes the knitting process easier for you.

This way to the pattern...

A very different kind of hat is waiting for you here!

An extraordinary "brim" gives this cabled hat the perfect finishing touch!
And... this "brim" can be knitted in many different colors,
so the hat goes with every outfit!

A detailed STEP-by-STEP description as well as several knitting charts guide you through the knitting process.

The pattern is designed for a head circumference of about 50-54 cm.
However, it is simple to make it larger or smaller as needed.

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you simply must have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look has a sophisticated effect, yet is so easy to make that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, extensive photo documentation helps guide you through the knitting process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated.

My holiday recommendation for a quick result is the Eulenspiegel.
It’s also perfect for using up leftover yarn and comes in two sizes.

You can get the pattern HERE

Just like its namesake Till, this hat is very versatile. The colorful version, knitted from Wollmeise scraps, reminds me a bit of a jester, while the gray version looks classically elegant. You can knit the hat with beads or without. Both versions are included as separate knitting charts in the pattern.

With your purchase, you’ll receive 2 PDF patterns, each 5 pages long. The patterns are labeled “Adult” and “Child.”

What skills do you need?
  • Casting on
  • knit and purl stitches
  • cable knitting
  • Knitting with a set of double-pointed needles
The basic techniques listed are not explained separately in the pattern.

Here’s what’s included:
  • Pattern as a PDF file
  • Pattern for adult size
  • Pattern for children’s size
Sample materials:
  • Drops Cotton Merino (52% wool / 48% cotton) 120 m per 50 g in colors 01 Off White and 20 Light Grey
  • Alternatively: 480 m Wollmeise Twin (80% wool / 20% polyamide) in various colors
  • Alternatively: 480 m Wollmeise Pure (80% wool) in various colors
  • 2 sets of 4 mm double-pointed needles
  • Or 1 4 mm circular needle (40 cm)
  • Cable needle
  • if needed, a 0.75–1 mm crochet hook
  • If needed: 4.5 mm silver-lined seed beads (48 pieces)
  • 6 stitch markers

Cutting out these delicate butterflies is an almost meditative activity and is just right for a relaxing weekend. Since the design is cut out directly through the template, you don’t have to painstakingly transfer it to the photo cardstock; you can start cutting right away.

The butterflies are about 27.3 x 14.5 cm on average, so each butterfly requires one sheet of DIN A4 photo cardstock. The colorful wing designs are a wonderful way to use up scraps of transparent paper. The pattern is also well suited for beginners, but you should have some practice using a craft knife.

This crochet pattern is great for the weekend because...
...you can make wonderful use of your leftover yarn
...you can help protect the environment by upcycling old yogurt jars
...you don’t have to make a special shopping trip, since the materials are already lying around at home
...you can crochet a lovely decoration for friends, family, or simply yourself
...you can create something creative comfortably on the couch or in an armchair

So grab your crochet hook, choose your favorite color, and get started.

You can find all the info about the required materials and the yarn used, as well as the crochet pattern, here: Crochet Lanterns “Magic Lights”

Time to call it a day—a long workday is over. Now it’s time to curl up on the sofa with yarn and a crochet hook. For a relaxing evening, the crochet pattern for the bestseller “Tausendschön” is just the thing.

The shawl is wonderfully large and beautiful. Because of its slightly asymmetrical shape, it can be worn in many different ways. Little flowers, which also gave the scarf its name, are crocheted on as you go and are the highlight!

The shawl can be crocheted in many yarn weights. The size can also be varied freely.

Required materials:
  • approx. 1500 meters of 3- to 4-ply yarn (e.g., lace yarn, gradient cake, or sock yarn)
  • crochet hook size 3–4
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
  • kitchen scale (to calculate yarn usage)
  • possibly a little spray starch
Only basic crochet knowledge is needed for the shawl, so the pattern is wonderfully suitable for beginners.

A photo tutorial shows how the little flowers are crocheted.

Finished measurements: approx. 184–90 cm (but it can also be made smaller or larger).
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts, a schematic drawing, and a photo tutorial.

Difficulty level: easy.

And best of all: For a short time only, you can save up to 25% on the pattern price!

This pattern can also be completed in a weekend. The airy pattern crochets up quickly and looks beautiful. You can crochet yourself a lovely fringed tunic, or simply an airy
short top. And the best part: even crochet beginners can manage it. Every step is explained in detail, illustrated with pictures, and the matching crochet charts are included as well.

Click here to go directly to the pattern:

Material usage depends on hook size and yarn weight:
  • Crochet hook of your choice, here size 3
  • e.g. size M–L shown here used approx. 220 g yarn / 800 m (here 4-ply gradient yarn)
