Alois the Fox and Jacques the Kitten, knitting pattern

Fox Alois and Jacques the Kitten are two lovely little scallywags, who have only mischief on their minds. Did you ever ask yourself why the yarn stash is always unraveled and tangled up? Well, these two might be the culprits, because there is nothing they love more than playing with yarn skeins. But by no means will you be able to scold them – they will just melt your heart with an oh so innocent look from their shiny black eyes.

Because you need only basic technical skills, the two scallywags are suitable for beginners who want more than knitting scarfs.
They both can be worked completely flat, but I threw in the instruction for the limbs and tails to work in the round.

Choose any yarn you like or have left over – Alois and Jacques will be bigger or smaller depending on the yarn. If you knit them for a child, make sure the yarn is robust, washable and doesn’t pill too much.
The pattern will lead you step-by-step through the knitting and sewing, including loads of detail photos and charts. Additionally, you’ll find instructions for the more elaborate techniques used like intarsia.
