Horst the Rabbit has a big heart for all those knitters who urgently need a little present for a babtism, a mascot for the best friend or just a cool companion for the next holidays. He knits up quickly with sewing reduced to the minimum – his body, ears and legs are all knit in one go! Body and legs are formed with short rows. For all who always wanted to try them, give Horst a go – the wrong side inside out does not only give him an interesting texture, but hides all irregularities. Good to know: The tiny bear Lutz is worked with the leftover yarn from the gradient skein I used for Horst.

Choose any yarn you like or have left over – if you knit Horst for a child, make sure the yarn is robust, washable and doesn’t pill too much.
