This little bag is wonderfully versatile!
Children and adults alike have already been delighted with it!

I got the idea when my mother-in-law had to go to the hospital and kept misplacing her phone. And what happened? She gave the bag to her roommate... That was the start of an almost out-of-control bag production :-)

So it makes a wonderful quick gift and knits up really fast, too!

On top of that, this pattern is FREE!

I’m looking forward to your shopping trip

My little baby shoes are just right for using up leftover yarn. They’re quick to knit in two colors and are a lovely adornment for a baby’s feet in spring and summer.

Then you’ll want to make another pair in matching colors for the next outfit, because the leftover yarn box is never really empty and always offers plenty of choice.

Depending on the yarn yardage and the type of yarn, the little shoes will turn out in different sizes.

When we look at the calendar, Easter really isn’t that far away anymore...

The leftover yarn basket is almost overflowing, so how about knitting the Easter decorations for the pussy willow branches yourself?

With a little practice, a decorative egg can be knitted and finished in just under an hour! So there’s still plenty of time to fill the “pussy willow bouquet”!

A detailed, illustrated e-book (14 pages) guides you through 11 different patterns. It explains step by step how to make the decorative egg.

Loop Sador is quick and easy to knit and ideal for leftover yarn.

Its size can be adjusted individually, as can the amount of yarn used. The loop is also very well suited to using different yarn weights. There are no limits to your creativity!

Needed materials:
  • approx. 100-200 gr of yarn (up to max. DK weight)
  • 2 circular knitting needles in 80 or 100 cm length with at least half a needle size difference (for lace yarn, I recommend needle sizes 3 and 3.5)
  • Digital tape measure
  •  Kitchen scale or other precision scale
  • Stitch markers
There is no fixed number of stitches for the loop. You need a gauge swatch to calculate the required number of stitches.
The pattern is 5 pages long and contains many examples for using different yarns.

The loop requires almost only knit stitches, so it is also great for beginners to make!
Difficulty level: easy

Perfect for leftover yarn, and also a great and practical accessory, is the crocheted pillow "Poduszka". It can be used in many ways—whether as a neck pillow or as a seat belt pad in the car. A small pocket has room for a smartphone or MP3 player.

The pillow consists of 12 individual patches that are crocheted together. The back is crocheted lengthwise upward. A special pattern gives it a great knitted look!

You’ll need:

  • approx. 200 - 250 grams of yarn / leftover yarn (e.g. Catania cotton by Schachenmayr, length 125m/50g)) in 4 different colors (you can also work with 2 colors, but you definitely need 4 skeins)
  • crochet hook size 3 (If you crochet very tightly, please use half to a whole size larger)
  • an open stitch marker
  • sewing needle
  • stuffing
  • 2 buttons
The finished size of the pillow measures approx. 53 x 23 cm when using the suggested yarn
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial for the patches as well as for the back, plus detailed diagrams. Easy difficulty level.

For these great flared pants, you only need 15 g of sock yarn (or other yarn with a yardage of 420 m/100 g or similar) and a set of double-pointed needles size 2 or 2.5. And you’re sure to find some leftover yarn like that in every craft box. Detailed material specifications for all the sample models shown can be found in the patterns.

After making these pants, you’ll surely want to knit the other patterns included in the 7 knitting patterns of the “Basics” series . You should be able to knit with a set of double-pointed needles.

I hope you enjoy knitting—Yours, “Ina strickt”

And since dolls don’t just need basic outfits, but also something for the “red carpet,” you won’t want to miss this pattern for a beautiful elegant dress. It’s also knitted using just 15 g of sock yarn (or another yarn with a yardage of approximately 420 m/100 g) and a set of double-pointed needles size 2 or 2.5. You should be able to knit with a set of double-pointed needles for this one as well.

I hope you enjoy knitting — Yours, “Ina strickt”

For all cat fans and dog lovers. A cute way to use up leftover yarn. As a keyring or bag charm.
10–20 g of leftover yarn, a suitable crochet hook (size 2–3), some stuffing, and, if desired, two small eyes if you do not want to embroider them on. Chain stitches, single crochet, increases and decreases. Then the charm is almost finished :-) Anyone who has crocheted from time to time will enjoy making the cat and/or dog.

The crocheted “Wings of Love” bag charm is perfect for using up leftover yarn and also makes a sweet little gift.

You can keep this cute little heart for yourself or give it away to bring joy to others. It only takes a few hours to make, so it’s ideal when you need a quick little gift.

For the heart, you’ll need:

  • Leftover yarn in white and red (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr)
  • Beads (make sure the eyelets are wide enough for the yarn to fit through)
  • some stuffing
  • Crochet hook size 3.0
  • Pins to attach the wings to the heart
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends and sewing on the wings
  • white sewing thread
  • Scissors
Using the yarn listed above, the heart will measure about 9 cm high (excluding the loop and bead charm) and about 16 cm wide.
You don’t need any special crocheting skills, since the heart is crocheted using only chain stitches, single crochet stitches, and double crochet stitches. However, you should have some basic knowledge of crocheting.
The pattern is 9 pages long and includes numerous pictures and charts.
Difficulty level: easy.

You can also knit these baby booties from leftover yarn—you’ll just need a little more for the base color.
Simply put together your own color combination, and then you’re ready to go!

Who wouldn’t be thrilled to receive such a lovely gift?

The pattern is well explained; it uses knit and purl stitches and is knitted with size 3 needles.

This takes you directly to the pattern
If you still have a few leftover yarns in your knitting basket, then this is exactly the right project for you.
You can really let your creativity run free here. Either make a shawl
with colorful stripes, or work the garter-stitch sections
each in a different color.
What should you know how to do for this project:
Knit stitches, purl stitches, increases, knit 2 stitches together, and wrap stitches (there is a video link for this in the
pattern that explains this technique.

What you need for knitting:

Yarn: Main color: Merino Extrafine by Fischer Wolle in gray (100% merino), yardage 155 meters / 50 g, 3 balls. Leftover yarn in various colors.
Knitting needles: Size 4 mm circular knitting needles.
Other supplies:
Possibly a row counter, yarn needle.
Gauge:
20 stitches and 23 rows over 10 cm in garter stitch with size 4 mm needles, after washing.
Finished measurements: 155 cm wide and 38 cm deep (measured at the deepest point).

  • Googly eyes / adhesive eyes and superglue
  • A thin string or cord to hang the cloverleaf with the piggy
  • A little stuffing
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • Scissors, darning needle
Contents: 14 illustrated pages of crochet pattern

You can use lots of colorful leftover yarn for these funny little sea creatures. Whether striped or solid-colored, they bring color to any bag, keys, or even to the children’s room as playmates.

All you need is a size 2.5 crochet hook and a Kinder Surprise egg capsule to cover, or alternatively yarn, and you’re ready to get started.

You should know how to make slip stitches, single crochet, and chain stitches.

Do you know that feeling when you once again have a tiny bit of leftover yarn in your box and still don’t want to throw it away because “maybe you’ll need just a little bit of it someday”?

With this cute little lucky charm, you can make anyone a little happy. By the way, these colorful spring mushrooms also look really lovely on an Easter bouquet among the Easter eggs.

The pattern is perfect for beginners because it only uses single crochet stitches worked in the round. The pattern includes lots of pictures and tips on increasing and decreasing stitches.
