I have this super-green Advent calendar:

The little fir trees are made from cardstock, about 8 cm tall, and very easy to make, even for craft beginners. Each little tree consists of three layers and a container; everything is made separately and assembled with the help of a thin wire – this way, the little trees can be reused year after year.
Tip: If you make only the top three layers and then glue them together, you get a pretty Christmas decoration; the little trees can then also be decorated with stars or snowflakes.

Green—my personal favorite color in all its shades! I have some wonderful arm warmers and wrist warmers for you:
Do you love something special? Then the AIMEE arm warmers are just right for you! They’re a real eye-catcher and beautifully warm to boot! You can knit them with any 4-ply sock yarn that creates stripes or color gradients, but they also look great in solid colors. The finishing touch is the double crocheted flower with a sparkling pearl at its center.

The knitting pattern is available right here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/14186/strick-und-haekelanleitung-armstulpen-aimee-groesse-s-und-m

Or the CLAÎRE arm warmers: They evoke the Scottish Highlands—green meadows and forests, Scottish castles—and are, of course, inspired by the Outlander series. They’re knitted from wonderfully soft alpaca yarn. First, you knit a band in a Celtic braided pattern, then continue in rounds with a delicate textured pattern.

You can find the knitting pattern right here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/14644/wrist-warmers-claire-with-celtic-cable-knitting-pattern-2-sizes

And for the romantics and elves among you: the petrol-blue ARIELLE arm warmers:   First you knit, then you crochet! These enchanting lace-mohair wrist warmers are quick to make, cozy and soft, and—thanks to the crocheted lace and the lurex in the yarn—they look absolutely elegant! Treat yourself to something beautiful or give your best friend a very personal gift!

And here’s where you can find the pattern:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/14886/gestrickte-pulswaermer-armstulpen-mit-haekelspitze-einheitsgroesse

Have fun knitting and crocheting,
Annette

Green, green, green are all my clothes, green, green, green is everything I like. :-)

Wonderfully green is my knitted neckerchief "Auenland" too. The simple yet sophisticated design was inspired by the homeland of the hobbits in Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings".

For the scarf you’ll need between 600 and 700 meters of sock-weight yarn, but lace or DK yarn will also work.

The pattern is very simple and easy for beginners to make too.

Get the pattern now and knit your very own Auenland.

The Frog Prince from Grimm’s fairy tales is a very well-known character. But here he kissed his princess and, just like that, she became the Frog Queen.

For materials you need

They were crocheted with a 2.5 mm hook and reach a size of approx. 18cm.Skills:

Everyone knows the game of “cat and mouse,” so why not a shoulder bag with that motif? As a gym bag, swim bag, or bag for the playground... Kids always need to take so many things along, and the design of this bag makes it perfect for that... Adapt it to the child with their favorite color and the strap length. It makes a lovely gift for starting school or for a birthday. Maybe even as packaging for a Christmas gift... who knows what possibilities you’ll come up with!Materials:
cotton yarn Catania or Limone 50g / 125m,
crochet hook No. 2.5,
2x light green
2x medium green
1x black
1.5 skeins brown
leftover yellowSkills:
single crochet,
tapestry (there is a good video online),
spiral rounds,
closed roundsThe crochet pattern includes 5 charts (2 x borders, 1x cat and mouse with the butterflies, 1x cat separately, 1x mouse separately), 4 pictures for working on the strap, and is 8 pages long.

You can easily make this cowl with the beautiful name "Sherwood Forest" in a weekend! It is knitted entirely in garter stitch, and the short rows are easy to master with my pattern. You won't need to knit a single purl stitch!
The pattern is intended for adventurous beginners who want to try new techniques.
Have fun knitting it up,
Your Steffi

And here’s another frog: cheeky Poldi! Like Rodolfo, he’s not necessarily suitable for beginners, but all the more so for the princesses among knitters who have always wanted to kiss a cuddly-soft frog!
Material: Anything with a yardage between 120 and 180 meters works great!

Here’s the Poldi pattern: CLICK!

With this crochet pattern, you can crochet a heart to hang up. The pattern includes two different designs. One side features a small flower, while the other has a border into which you can insert flowers, for example. The heart makes a lovely decoration for a wall or window, but also serves as a small gift, such as for a wedding.

What a great thread, because green is my favorite color :)
I even have quite a few green items available. Everything is suitable for advanced beginners, and you’ll probably already have most of the materials at home.

New in the mix is the Advent calendar in a fir tree look. With it, you can conjure up a Christmas classic that hides an Advent calendar inside. The boxes can be removed without any problem, without taking the tree apart.
Curious? Click here.

Or how about green amigurumis?
The beloved turtle Lorchen and her best friend frog Franzi are waiting for you. They’re up for any fun. Both are available as a set at a special price or can also be purchased individually.
Take a closer look at them *click*

And since good things come in threes, here’s a frog with a gift hiding place. Ideal for giving as a gift, since it has room for something sweet, vouchers, or money. With the pattern, you can also turn it into a medal.
Here is the pattern.

Best wishes
Steffi

This enchanting little elf jacket is, of course, knitted in my favorite color, but the mohair-silk yarn comes in soooo many beautiful colors that each of you can knit it in your favorite color! The leaf pattern does require a bit of knitting experience, so the jacket is more for advanced knitters—but beginners also want to move up to the next level at some point and take on new challenges... Otherwise life gets boring, right....?? Go for it!

The detailed knitting pattern for sizes 36–44 is waiting for you here:

Wishing you lots of fun knitting,
Yours, Annette

Definitely green ;-) Little Othello isn’t particularly difficult. And if you’ve crocheted amigurumi before, you shouldn’t have any trouble with Othello either. Single crochet, half double crochet, a few increases and decreases. With just over 200g of yarn, you’re practically a proud dog owner already :-) Have fun crocheting.

How about a green steam locomotive? It’s sturdy, washable, you can seat little dolls in it, and it can even come to bed with you because it’s so cuddly and soft. You only need to know how to do single crochet; the individual pieces are very easy to crochet and just need to be sewn together. Of course, you can also crochet the locomotive in a different color. Is it still too warm for you to think about Advent calendars or Christmas trees? For these last few warm days, I have something else green for you:

This gift bag is very sturdy and can be filled with lots of useful little items or even larger gifts. The bag is made from cardstock and measures approximately 18 x 30 x 22 cm. With a little crafting experience, it’s quick and easy to make.

It’s gotten colder now, so I’m returning to the Christmas theme—and with it, the green Christmas trees. I have several of these in my shop, and this one is brand new:

This small gift box is perfect for several small gifts like cosmetics, jewelry, or chocolates, but also for little handmade treasures like amigurumi, wrist warmers, or gloves—basically anything that fits into a small container measuring approximately 13 x 14 x 11 cm.
The box is made from cardstock, measures about 25 x 20.5 x 11 cm in total, and can be easily recreated even by beginners with good fine motor skills.

For some inexplicable reason, the image from my post above has vanished without a trace. Here’s the little tree I was referring to:

And here’s the next little Christmas tree-shaped gift box —and it’s green, too:

This packaging is also made from photo cardstock. The little tree measures approx. 29 x 26.5 x 10.5 cm, is easy to make, and is especially well-suited for small gifts.

My little green cactus is standing outside on the balcony...
This cactus isn’t meant for the balcony, but as a fun pincushion.
It’s quick and easy to crochet, so even beginners shouldn’t have any trouble with it. All you need is a bit of leftover yarn and the pattern

  • approx. 45g - 50g cotton (Catania by Schachenmayr with a length of 125m/50g was used here

Crochet Hat for EVERYONE - very easy

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for different styles, so ONE hat model wearable in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Easy to make for children too, or as a
simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).
And the best part: no gauge (it doesn’t depend on the exact cm), no increases or decreases, possible for any desired yarn in all sizes. The PDF pattern includes pictures.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet. Everything else and slip stitches are explained. (Video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.
By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to go with this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, possibly a pom-pom.
The rib pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is usually needed for hats. The crochet hook size should match the yarn used in each case.

**************************************************************************************************************************************

And how about this: Cardigan/Jacket Model GITA - Size 36 to 42 OneSize

A lightweight knitted piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under – simple and with an eye-catching collar area. Both stitch patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar shaping requires a bit of attention.  Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with knitting needles size 6.0. Because of the relaxed shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not very critical. So it’s no problem if 14 or 15 sts = approx. 10 cm. If there are larger gauge deviations, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but does include relevant link tips.

We need

225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk,
information according to the ball band: needles 3 – 4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage;
Alternative yarns: e.g. Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair or KidSilk (Adriafil) – the same amount in each case for the total back length knitted here of approx. 71 cm. This material is knitted with double
strand.
You can also use yarns such as Creative Melange chunky (Rico), for example, if the ball bands indicate a gauge of approx. 14 sts = approx. 10 cm with needle 6.0. Then knit with a single strand and calculate approx. 100 g more yarn (because of the jacket length and collar) than recommended on the ball band.
Used here: knitting needles size 6.0, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for sewing in ends, scissors, stitch marker, possibly row counter.

Potholders “So Green, So Green” - Tunisian crochet

Fresh green as kitchen decor or for actual use as a potholder made of 100% cotton – a useful little gift for all kinds of occasions.

Both the pattern for the potholder and the pattern for the crochet flower(s) are illustrated step by step.

Material for 1 potholder in the standard size 21 cm x 21 cm:
50 g light green + 50 g dark green crochet yarn made of 100% cotton/plant fiber for heat resistance, e.g. Schoeller+Stahl Record 210, 50 g- 90 m, according to the ball band 16 sts x 24 rows =
10 x 10 cm), so 50 g per color for the Tunisian crochet hook up to max. size 4.5.
For the flower(s), a leftover bit of cotton yarn is enough, e.g. Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for crochet hook 2.5 - 3.5.
Note: heat-resistant cotton yarn (= potholder yarn) is only lightly twisted and therefore difficult to crochet with, especially for beginners, because the yarn splits a lot. So if heat resistance isn’t that important to you, e.g. if you won’t place a hot pot on the potholder, you can also crochet with a cotton blend yarn, e.g. Pantino by Schoeller+Stahl.
We also need a measuring tape, scissors, and a yarn needle for sewing in ends.

General crochet skills are sufficient; the Tunisian crochet technique is explained with pictures.
