A new baby blanket has arrived in my shop—the little dog snuggles comfortably up to Mom or Dad. Every child should feel this well protected! With this blanket, you can symbolically give the gift of love and security. Plus, knitting it is really fun. The pattern is created using only knit stitches and purl stitches. Thanks to the detailed, stitch-by-stitch pattern, even beginners who have enough patience for a slightly larger project can manage it.




Knitting Pattern for Baby/Children’s Blanket “Dream Night II” – Easy

This penguin, or “Piping” as my oldest son called him when he was just starting to talk, is guaranteed to add extra bath-time fun. He also works
well as a dishcloth for the (play) kitchen, or knitted from a
slightly softer material as a cuddle cloth. The washcloth is
quick and easy to knit and also makes a lovely little gift
to bring along.

To go with the baby blanket shown above—or even on its own—you can now knit this cozy pair of dogs in a smaller size, e.g., as a washcloth or dishcloth. The rows are written out stitch by stitch, and only knit and purl stitches are needed, making it very easy to follow along.



Knitting Pattern for “Dog Love” Washcloth / Dish Towel—It’s Easy!

It pays to be quick,
because for a short time I have the patterns newly uploaded today in my shop at a 50% discount.

1.
Shawl “ Lightweight ” made from rainbow yarn (roving yarn in bright rainbow colors).
A triangular shawl, or rather a flat rectangular shawl, that looks like an elongated diamond.
It is knitted with large needles and is finished quickly.
Very easy to knit, TV-friendly and suitable for beginners.
Both sides of the shawl look the same. There is no front side, no back side.

Sweater “ Lightweight ” made from rainbow yarn
The top is knitted sideways, starting at one sleeve and working through to the other sleeve
Later, the front and back pieces are lengthened downward.
This sweater is also knitted with large needles, is finished quickly, TV-friendly and lightweight.

Mother’s Day is coming soon, and spring is peak wedding season again. Or maybe you’d simply like to tell someone dear to you how much you care about them? Then these potholders make a wonderful gift. Instead of potholders, you can of course also knit both motifs as washcloths or dishcloths; in that case, I’d recommend a slightly thinner yarn. 

They are knitted in double-face, which makes both sides equally beautiful. Detailed instructions for this great knitting technique are included.

And here’s another new addition to my shop—a little paw-print cloth for all animal lovers. It can be knitted as a dishcloth (e.g., specifically for cat or dog bowls), a pot holder, or even a soft cleaning cloth for dirty paws. The cloth is worked using the double-face knitting technique, so both sides look great. Since the pattern is fairly simple, it’s a good beginner’s project for this lovely knitting technique. The Marie shawl has just arrived in my shop.
It’s perfect for beginners and requires only 200g of sock-weight yarn.
100g should be solid-colored and 100g heathered to create a nice contrast.

Today I’d like to introduce you to my 6th owl motif.
The baby owl is lying safely in the arms of its owl mom.

With this pattern, you can knit dishcloths, potholders,washcloths.
You can also combine several motifs from my motif collection and knit them into a pillow cover, a table runner, a table band, or even a tablecloth or baby blanket.
You can also place my dishcloth motifs on the front of a child’s sweater.
This gives you a wide range of possible uses with just 1 pattern.
