During the Pentecost holidays, you might have time to crochet a few hand puppets. This is an exciting project where you can be very creative and incorporate your own ideas. You can also use yarn left over from larger projects for the hand puppets and let yourself be
inspired by your scraps.
With the
Hand Puppet Value Pack you get the patterns for 6 different hand puppets for the puppet theater. They are the 6 main characters you can already use to perform lots of Kasperl plays: Kasperl, Crocodile, Seppel, Gretel, Grandmother, and Robber.
The patterns include a sewing pattern with measurements, so you can also crochet with yarns other than the suggested ones.

Smaller children usually do better with finger puppets. Here, too, my shop has a
Finger Puppet Value Pack, which lets you crochet 10 different finger puppets for the Kasperl puppet theater. In addition to Kasperl, Crocodile, Seppel, Gretel, Grandmother, and Robber, there are also patterns for a Policeman, King, Princess, and Witch. This project is especially well suited for small amounts of leftover yarn.

And finally, one more leftover-yarn project that might not seem quite right for the season:
Crocheted Figures for the Nativity Scene. But if you want to have a beautiful nativity scene with lots of self-crocheted figures at Christmas, you should start early. Of course, you start with the Holy Family, as well as the ox and donkey and the poinsettia. Later, you can then expand the nativity scene. You can find patterns for that in
my Christmas collection.
The nativity figures are about 10 cm tall, so they are not too small and "fiddly," but they also don’t take up too much space.
