Gym bags make a very special gift, for a birthday or for starting school. The bag can accompany and delight a child for many years.

If a simple LED tea light looks a little too minimalist for you and you’d like to enhance its look to suit summer, then this tutorial is just right for you!


 
The sunflower tea light holder is very quick and easy to make. It’s made from photo cardstock, measures about 14 cm in diameter, and is perfect even for beginners.

Practical and Decorative Items for the Bathroom:



The crocheted cover for tissue boxes hides the ugly cardboard box under a decorative cover. The nautical motif with a wave pattern, shells and crustaceans fits wonderfully in any bathroom. The cover can be made in any standard size.


If you’d like even more shell decorations in your bathroom but don’t have any real shells, you can also crochet them from a few leftover yarn scraps. You can create 3 different models with this pattern. Tip: You’ll get especially beautiful results with gradient yarn and pastel colors.



And another decorative idea: Oskar the Octopus fits right into any shell and sea-themed decoration. So of course he’s also perfect for the bathroom! Oskar’s body is about 12 cm long. Together with the tentacles, he measures about 38 cm in length.


A decorative bath sponge can be crocheted quickly from a few scraps of Creative Bubble yarn. The ladybug sponge is very easy to crochet and can also be given as a good-luck charm. The sponge can be washed in the washing machine at 60°.


Isn’t this a cute cotton pad dispenser? Wolli the Bunny is filled with cotton balls, which are pulled out from the back. To make refilling less fiddly, Wolli has a zipper at his neck.

I'll start with the useful things.....



A crocheted shopping net belongs in every shopping basket or handbag - "Always with you" fits quite a lot inside. 

Crocheted from cotton or from scraps, it can be beautifully colorful and puts you in a good mood even while crocheting. 



I love my knitted and crocheted dishcloths. They are absorbent and very pleasant to use. 

I have knitted a few animal motifs; the crocheted ones have a simple pattern and are also great for using up scraps. 

For decorative items, I can offer.....



This crocheted-over tin can be a small gift for a child's first day of school. Quite a few things will fit inside. It is crocheted in spiral rounds with several colors. For this, I have included lots of pictures in the pattern so you can reach your goal quickly. 



For the next garden party, a colorful garland made from various colored pennants - here you can easily crochet up your various scraps. 



For fall decorations, I can offer you pumpkins in various sizes. Depending on the yarn weight and hook size, the pumpkins will turn out in different sizes. The small branches, which can quickly be gathered on your next walk in the woods, add more naturalness. 

If you keep your decor in light colors or even prefer it entirely white, then this table lamp would go well with it.



This decorative light source is made from photo cardstock and tracing paper and measures approximately 10 x 7.5 x 10 cm. With a little crafting experience—especially experience cutting with a craft knife—it’s very easy to recreate.
