If you’re looking for a quick-to-knit yet impressive gift for a birthday or anniversary, this pattern might be just the thing—a lovely cake motif that you can knit as a dishcloth or washcloth. Using thick cotton yarn, you can also turn it into potholders. Thanks to the detailed, stitch-by-stitch pattern, even beginners with basic skills can manage it—only knit and purl stitches are needed.

Some love them, others hate them, and some are even afraid of them.

I mean FROGS.

I really like them, and now I’ve finally designed a dishcloth/washcloth featuring this funny little fellow.

Only knit and purl stitches are needed.
That makes it ideal for beginners or when you quickly need a small little gift to bring along.
You’ll get a visible result in no time.
You can finish one dishcloth in an afternoon.

A new pair of baby booties has arrived in my shop.

This time, they’re knitted in rows from top to bottom. A pretty lace pattern makes them perfect for the warmer months.

I’ve also just finished a new pattern that’s made its way here. Here’s a frog-shaped pillow—you can cuddle with it, make noises with it, and even use it to make the seat of a high chair smaller.

Matching look for 🐕 and 👩 for summer:
SOSCHA is a quick-to-sew narrow dog bandana and/or a neck scarf or hairband for the owner.
In various widths and two versions, the sewing pattern is also suitable for sewing beginners and is great for using up fabric scraps or for upcycling projects.

Günther, the firefly, is new in my shop.
Günther is crocheted from glow-in-the-dark yarn. In daylight, it appears white. If you shine a light on it for a while, it will glow greenish in the dark for quite some time: a great effect!

This bag is a real joy—both while you’re knitting it and later when you’re carrying it or giving it as a gift. You can use it as a small beach bag, a shopping bag, or a gift bag. Depending on the yarn you use, it will turn out either a bit more delicate (e.g., with soft acrylic yarn) or more sturdy (e.g., with thicker cotton yarn). The patterns are very easy to knit. The bottom edge features a very simple slip stitch pattern, and the motifs require only knit stitches and purl stitches.

Another highlight for small dolls has just hopped off my needles. Now the doll mom’s little darlings (35–40 cm) have cute summer clothes too. The set matches the little dress perfectly, which you can also find in my shop.

The sweater is knitted top-down raglan style. It also includes leggings that can be knitted with or without a ruffle. Both the smaller and the larger sizes are described.

For anyone who loves crocheting and crafting, this caravan with a pitch is just the thing.
It’s not a beginner’s project, and it’s certainly not something you can finish in a day.
But with some crocheting experience and a little patience, you can do it too.

As a gift for a new baby, I crocheted this pennant garland with letters. It was quick to make using leftover yarn, and I had so much fun that I ended up designing and crocheting more and more letters.

Now I have a small collection and can piece the letters together to form words.

You should already have some experience with tapestry crochet. I’ll give you a few tips on how to handle color changes. Just take a look at my word examples..........

NEW and handy for travel or small apartments : The laundry bag!

Here’s how easy it is to use:

  • Just hang it on a hanger,
  • put your laundry in the top
  • and close it with the drawstring.
  • Then open it using the zipper at the bottom ;).

The laundry bag is great for a student apartment, camping, or on a cruise:

Since we have so many wasps around right now, I just had to design some cool coasters, which we’re now repurposing as “lids” for our glasses ;-) Of course, they work just as well as regular coasters. The pattern includes 6 different designs on the theme of “summer drinks.” They knit up very quickly and, thanks to the detailed pattern, are absolutely perfect for beginners.

A new triangular shawl has arrived in my shop.

It’s crocheted from the bottom up, so you can customize the size. The pattern is very simple and well-suited for beginners. I’ve also included a crochet chart in the pattern if you’d rather not follow the written instructions.

This ladybug has just crawled off the needles.
The dishcloth is knitted using only knit and purl stitches.
When arranged in the correct order, they form the motif of the lucky ladybug.
The stitch sequence is explained in the pattern stitch by stitch and row by row
and even as a beginner, you’ll achieve the desired result in no time.

Isn’t this family of turtles just adorable? I find these peaceful prehistoric creatures simply fascinating. Here, they make a lovely design for a washcloth or dishcloth. Of course, you can also use thicker cotton yarn to knit pot holders from this pattern. Thanks to the detailed, stitch-by-stitch pattern, even beginners will have no trouble following along. Only knit stitches and purl stitches are needed.
