What could be more fitting for Pentecost than a dove of peace! :)
You can knit this one as a washcloth, dishcloth, or pot holder. It’s very simple—just knit and purl stitches.

During the holidays, you can dress a little doll (35–40 cm) for a doll mommy with this sweet set consisting of pants (with or without feet), a raglan sweater, and a hat.

To go with it, you can knit this little skirt for the doll mommy (3–4 years). I knitted the doll clothes from the leftover yarn from the skirt.

For a long weekend with plenty of time for crafting, I have the following suggestions for you



Crochet pattern for a blanket - it is started in the center and can be crocheted to any size you like. 



This blanket is crocheted in spiral rounds, and a gradient yarn or a yarn cake works wonderfully for it



Knitting pattern for a summer hat with a lace pattern (from head circumference 36 cm - 55 cm)

“Chug-chug-chug, the train goes by—who wants to go on vacation…?”
If you don’t have the chance to go on vacation this Pentecost, you might be able to satisfy your wanderlust with a fun craft project. The train for train fans young and old isn’t hard to crochet, though it does take a little time and patience to sew the individual pieces together. But it’s worth the effort!
The cars are connected to each other with Velcro fasteners. They can be opened so you can let little dolls ride along. Great fun for young and old alike!

Or are you dreaming of a trip by plane?
This cute little keychain is a quick project for anyone who doesn’t have much time to crochet over Pentecost but still doesn’t want to go without a little crafting. It’s quick to make, and all you need is a little leftover yarn. And maybe you’ll end up making several little airplanes? Then you can put together a great mobile for the kids’ room.

Or would you like something even more adventurous?
Then do what the little mouse does and let your imagination take you on a fantastic hot-air balloon ride into the blue while you crochet!
You’ll need a styrofoam ball that can be opened as a base. It is crocheted around in three colors.
The mouse in the balloon is also a great decoration for the kids’ room. But the mouse can also be taken out to play with.

For the long Pentecost weekend, here are my suggestions for beautiful designs that are very easy and also quite quick to knit. So there will still be enough time left for meeting family and friends, going for walks, relaxing in the sunshine... :-) 

Depending on the yarn used, all the designs shown can be knitted as washcloths, dishcloths, or pot holders. Thanks to the detailed pattern, written out stitch by stitch, even beginners with basic skills can manage them (knit and purl stitches are required).
