Double Knitting Pattern Cowl "Cuddly Bunnies"

The little bunny loves to hop across the meadow or to explore the forest. As soon as it is tired, though, there is nothing more comforting than cuddling close to Mummy and marvel at the wonders of nature. During the day it is fun to watch the butterflies flutter around, and in the nighttime it is a magic experience to gaze together at the sparkling stars.

With this cowl your child is accompanied loyally by these two cuddly bunnies. Depending on the yarn you use resp. depending on the gauge, the size fits for smaller children of about 2-4 years, or for older children from about 4 years on.

This cowl is knitted in the Double Knitting Technique. Thus, it is extra soft and warm for your child, and it looks beautiful on both sides.

With Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Cotton Bamboo: 25 stitches x 40 rounds = 10 x 10 cm

Size of the cowl with this gauge: approx. 52 cm circumference and 16 cm height

With the alternative yarn suggestions: 23 stitches x 36 rounds = 10 x 10 cm

Size of the cowl with this gauge: approx. 56 cm circumference and 18 cm height

For smaller children (2-4 years)

• Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Cotton Bamboo (running length 156 m / 50 gr), approx. 50 gr each in lilac and pink
• 2,5 mm (US 1 or 2) circular needle 50 or 60 cm
• Additional circular needle (similar needle size, 60 cm or longer)
• Darning needle
• Scissors

Yarn suggestions for older children (4 years +), approx. 50-60 gr each in two different colours:

• Lang Yarns Merino 150 (running length 150 m / 50 gr)
