Potholders "Sea Love" - double knitting pattern

Your vacations are over, or you haven’t been away for a long time? If you're longing for the sea, you can knit these potholders to add a little maritime flair to your home. When you look at the two motifs, you can almost feel the salty air in your nose and hear the sound of the waves

The double sided knitting technique makes the potholders nice and thick and they look great from both sides. Of course, you can also make beautiful washcloths from the motifs using finer yarn.

With a gauge 25 stitches x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm, size of the finished potholder is approx. 22 cm x 22 cm

• Schachenmayr Catania 100 % cotton, 125 m / 50 gr, approx. 60-70 gr each in blue and white
• 2.5 mm (US 1 or 2) circular knitting needle
• Additional circular knitting needle 2.5 mm (or 3 mm)
• Crochet hook 3 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
