«Love Always» as in «Love for ever», but also «Never forget to love». Both meanings are wonderful wishes for a newborn baby. And the cute little baby feet make the blanket even more special. No matter if you knit the blanket for your own child or for parents-to-be, it certainly will bring joy and will be appreciated for a lifetime.

The motif is created only by knit and purl stitches. The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit this lovely blanket, so even ambitioned beginners will succeed. And if there should be any questions, I'll be happy to help!

You will get very detailed directions with written instructions for each row. In addition you will get a knitting chart for the motif in a separate file. You can choose if you go with the written instructions or prefer working with the knitting chart.

Stockinette stitch: 22 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

With this gauge, size of the finished blanket will be approx. 70 x 90 cm.

  • Wollbutt Venia (318 m / 100 gr) about 3 skeins à 100 gr in sage; my blanket has a weight of about 245 gr; depending on your personal knitting tension the exact weight may vary
    alternatively you can use any yarn which is suitable for babies; size of the finished blanket may be different then
  • 4 mm (US 6) circular needles, minimum 80 cm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

    Gute Anleitung für Anfänger
    Ich habe das Tuch als mein erstes Anfängerprojekt gestrickt, und hatte viel Spaß dabei! Umschlag und Abketten werden erklärt, und das abwechselnde hin-und-her zwischen Musterreihen und einer rechtsgestrickten Reihe erlaubt für nette Verschnaufpausen vom Konzentrieren ;-) Hat Spaß gemacht, ich werde auf jeden Fall auch noch das Dino-Tuch stricken!

    Tolle Anleitung
    Hier macht das Stricken nach Anleitung viel Spaß. Nach der Herz an Herz und Sternchen Mütze habe ich nun auch diese nachgearbeitet und bin wieder schwer begeistert.

    Ich hab eine Frage, auf dem Foto sieht es aus als ob beim a von always, oben nur 2 Reihen sind. Ich hab aber 3 Reihen🤔

      Hallo Ute
      Bei den "a" sind es zwei Krausrippen oben, d.h. Du strickst zweimal in der Rückreihe UND in der Hinreihe rechte Maschen. Zwei Krausrippen sind insgesamt vier Reihen. Schau mal im Strickschema, da siehst Du es ganz gut (jedes Kästchen = eine Masche / zwei Reihen).
