Crafting Animals: These Animal Models Need a New Friend

Dear users, dear authors,
here in this thread, authors will present patterns for animal models that can bring lots of fun when crafting, giving as gifts, playing, snuggling, cuddling, and decorating. Go ahead and get started.

These two funny little animals have a very special job that they’re happy to do. They hang on the door handle and guard the entrance. If visitors are welcome—or not—they reliably show it.

Also well suited for the home office, the bathroom, restroom, and of course the children’s room. Because children especially love them.

This teddy for the very little ones can also be easily made by beginner knitters (with basic knowledge).

Dino Pauli is crocheted in two parts, which are then crocheted together at the end with a round of single crochet stitches. Depending on the hook size and yardage, Pauli can reach a length of about 40 cm.



This little bunny is also crocheted in 2 parts and simply crocheted together at the end. You’ll be guided row by row, so even beginners can manage well with a little practice.

This cool whale and the cute dolphin would love to find new friends! They’re both pretty quick to crochet, with very little sewing involved.

All my crochet patterns are always very detailed and made with numerous step-by-step photos, so even ambitious beginners can give them a try :-)

Crochet patterns for animals are available in abundance in my shop. Today I’d like to introduce you to a few mini animals that work well as keychains or bag charms.
They’re a great way to use up small leftover yarn that you otherwise couldn’t do much with anymore.



The little Giraffe Luise can be crocheted using just a few yellow and brown leftover yarn scraps.



The clingy monkey Jojo can hold on to cords and cables if you add a bit of wire to its arms and legs.


The sweet mini seal is also part of my keychain menagerie. A little gray or white yarn and a colorful remnant for the ball—you’re sure to have that at home.

I don’t have such a colorful crowd of animals to show. Only my cuddly pompom bunny is sure to enchant you. It is made from pom-poms. The little ears are crocheted.

Here are a few animals from my shop. They’re crocheted with African flowers. First, the flower elements are crocheted. You can also use up leftover yarn wonderfully for this. Then the flowers are assembled and a figure is created.
