Socks are always a good weekend project

Knitted spiral socks - heel-less socks - they fit multiple sizes and grow with the wearer.

Or maybe a few little things for the Easter basket?

Knitted dishcloth with a bunny - knitted using knit and purl stitches

Crocheted cuddly bunny - a back piece and a front piece are crocheted and then joined together with a round of single crochet. Only the little stubby tail needs to be sewn on.

Unusual decorations for your home - or lovely gift ideas for someone dear:

The bouquet of tulips in an umbrella decorates doors and walls and can also be used as decoration for the table, a dresser, or a shelf.
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate for advanced crocheters, difficult to very difficult for beginners with a little practice.

The Easter eggs with cherry blossoms and fresh greenery are easy for beginners with a little practice to crochet, too, and can be used in many ways for decoration. For example, as a wreath or as individual decorations:

You can find the crochet pattern for the Easter eggs with cherry blossoms and fresh greenery here

Also very easy for beginners with a little practice to make: the heart decorative hanger in two versions.
You can easily crochet the heart and the flower from leftover yarn and leftover crochet thread in the colors of your choice and use them in many ways for decoration.

The goose family takes us straight into spring and the Easter season with their stroll! Papa Goose is incredibly proud of his family, but Mama Goose keeps looking back worriedly at her little ones. Yet the newly hatched chicks waddle along quite nimbly behind Mama and Papa.

Here’s what you’ll need to crochet the goose family:
  • approx. 50 g of cotton yarn (125 m / 50 g, e.g. Catania) in white
  • scraps of cotton yarn (125 m / 50 g, e.g. Catania) in yellow, orange, gray, light green, pink, and light blue
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 2.0 mm crochet hook
  • craft batting
  • 10 black half-beads (approx. 6 mm in diameter) for the eyes
  • 1 small pair of doll glasses
4 pieces of floral wire, each approx. 14 cm long
    craft glue or hot glue
... and of course, the pattern! You can find it here!

Would you like to try filet crochet? Then this table runner with eggs and Easter bunnies is just right for you! It’s very easy to make. All you need to do is crochet chain stitches and double crochets. There’s a chart for the pattern, but I’ve also written out each row stitch by stitch.

The table runner measures about 34 x 100 cm, but you can also make it larger by repeating the pattern.

My, my, my... who’s hatching from those colorful Easter eggs? The little lamb, Easter bunny, and chick are all very curious to see what’s decorating your Easter table.

These three Easter animals are especially well-suited for using up leftover yarn of varying thicknesses. I used:
  • approx. 20 g each of Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran (LL 184m/100g) in neon green, neon yellow, and neon pink
  • approx. 10 g each of Lana Grossa Estivo II (150 m/50 g) in brown, yellow, and white
  • approx. 8 g Schachenmayr Lenja Soft (85 m/25 g) in white
  • approx. 30 g Schachenmayr Catania Grande (63 m/50 g) in white
  • leftover red cotton yarn
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • craft batting
  • 3 pairs of safety eyes (approx. 6 mm in diameter)
  • pink and black embroidery floss
  • scraps of white felt
  • glue
You don’t have to use the same yarn, just yarn of a similar thickness.
The crochet pattern is available here!

This colorful spring meadow is sure to put you in a good mood first thing in the morning on your breakfast table. All the pieces are very easy to crochet. Fun and pretty egg cozies, egg cups, placemats, and coasters will delight you even as you’re making them.

The little dolls (30–36 cm) definitely need a sleeping bag. That way, the doll’s mom will be even more eager to go to bed with her. Easy to knit and ideal as a weekend project. It’s sure to be a lovely surprise for the Easter basket.

Another great idea for the Easter basket is this bag, which fits perfectly on a tricycle, Puky, or balance bike. It has a double bottom, so the stuffed animal can always come along for the ride. Suitable for experienced crocheters.

Kinkaku - a set of little caps for your Easter eggs.
Quickly made from a few scraps using Bruges crochet, they’re a colorful decoration for your Easter branches.

Ukonkou - Tulips are simply a must for Easter.
Here, too, you only need a few scraps of yarn - preferably cotton.

For a beautiful Easter table, this placemat is a pretty and practical decoration at the same time—it’s very easy to knit, using only knit and purl stitches. The pattern is written in such detail that even beginners can give it a try.

Knitting pattern placemat "Happy Easter" - very easy

For all crochet fans, I have two suggestions for this weekend showing how you can easily crochet a pretty dishcloth (or, depending on the yarn, a washcloth) with a motif:

Crochet pattern cloth / washcloth "Elo Elephant"

Crochet pattern cloth / washcloth "Love Birds"

Sonja wishes you a lovely weekend
