So many choices, so hard to decide. Now here are 3 suggestions from me too for beautiful baby blankets. I handmade all of them for my grandchildren. They are all still in use and are loved.

Timeless Merino Blanket
This one always works, because it is very soft, warm, and breathable. And you can wash it in the washing machine. And because of the simple pattern, it is also quick to knit.
Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares
This blanket is a lot of fun to crochet. First we crochet many individual squares in favorite colors. These are then crocheted together to make a blanket. It is decorative in a child’s room, and it is great to play with.
“African Flowers” Blanket
This one is the most impressive visually. I only make it for special occasions, since it is a bit more elaborate to make. First we crochet lots and lots of hexagons and half hexagons. These are then joined together to make a blanket.
