You can crochet these little cloths wonderfully from leftover yarn; depending on the yarn weight, about 30–40 g per color is enough. Depending on the yarn used, you can make a cuddle cloth, a washcloth, a dishcloth, or even potholders from them. Since a cloth like this is crocheted up pretty quickly, there’s even still time for a Christmas gift :-)

These potholders are also great stash busters, since they can easily be crocheted in different colors.

You can knit this cowl wonderfully from leftover yarn for the whole family. It’s very quick to make—definitely done in a weekend. And who doesn’t love something nice, cozy, and warm around their neck...

A little raglan sweater like this for dolls or teddy bears can also be knitted very quickly and is sure to bring joy. The pattern includes several sizes—from 25–30 cm to 50 cm. This way, both small teddy bears and baby dolls can be dressed in new outfits. I think this is the best way to use up leftover yarn.

And of course, a baby doll needs a diaper that’s easy for even toddlers to put on and take off. This one only requires small amounts of leftover yarn and is crocheted in no time.

Wrist warmers are very popular in this cold weather, and if they can be knitted with just a few leftovers, all the better.
The Noble Hand Stripes are quick to knit with a simple slip-stitch pattern.

Easy to make, suitable for most types of paper, and perfect for using up scraps: These beautiful Christmas tree ornaments are likely to meet all the expectations you could have of a craft project.

For the models shown here, I used photo cardstock, pearlescent cardstock, holographic paper, glitter paper, and mirror-finish paper. The ornaments are approximately 7.7 cm tall.

You’ll still have plenty of time to make a few little hearts for the Christmas tree.

The pattern includes 3 sizes and shows you how to easily crochet your own little hearts in your favorite color.

Decorations or gift tags for Christmas that you can still finish at the last minute: All you need are a few bits of leftover yarn and a little time:

The Quick Angel  is truly crocheted in no time and adds a special touch to any little gift package. The little angels can also hang on the Christmas tree.

Rudi with the Red Nose is also a cute gift tag and can be crocheted super quickly from a few bits of leftover yarn. He also makes a cute bag charm or keychain.

For such a charming star-shaped tealight holder, you only need about 10 g of cotton yarn. You can also crochet it with glitter yarn if you want it to look especially elegant.

You can also easily make these Christmas tree ornaments from leftovers, and in addition to photo cardstock, you can use many types of sturdy decorative paper.

The ornaments are very easy to make, about 6.5 cm wide and about 14 cm tall. The balls without tassels, beads, or eyelets are about 7 cm tall.

Small knitted baby shoes - a few scraps are often enough here. For this model, you should have some practice using a cable needle.

Crocheted balloon cover - ideal for indoor play now in winter. Individual granny squares are crocheted and then sewn together.

These little crocheted bells  are perfect as Christmas tree decorations or gift tags.
