During the Christmas season, you see gnomes everywhere. These colorful Star Gnomes are especially cute and very easy to crochet. You can put small amounts of leftover yarn to good use, since you only need about 20 g of cotton yarn for one gnome. Use them as a Christmas tree topper, a pincushion, a gift tag, or hang them as a garland on a string of lights in the window!

This cozy cowl is a charming accessory for children. If you start on it now, there’s still time for it to be a gift in a St. Nicholas boot or for Christmas. The cowl is knitted in double-face, which makes it wonderfully dense, and both sides look beautiful.

Knitted scarf with a beautiful pattern of knit and purl stitches—easy to make

This knitted scarf is also knitted using only knit and purl stitches—the cable look is created entirely without a cable needle—also very well suited for beginners with perseverance.

A smaller project is this knitted collar—a lovely alternative to a cowl or scarf, and it always keeps the neck area nice and warm. It is knitted with circular needles.

Warm socks are a must in winter. Hand-knitted ones are, of course, much better than store-bought ones. If only it weren’t for that pesky heel...

With this pattern, you’ll enjoy knitting them, because with the simple mowi heel and the CraSyTrio, everything is really easy. Here you’ll find different sizes explained, so you can delight the whole family with socks.

A shoulder warmer is always very popular, for example this cowl collar, which is very easy to knit yourself.

Christmas is getting closer and closer, and in just two weeks the first Advent calendar gift will need to be opened.

If you haven’t made an Advent calendar yet but would like to, take a look at this model: Of course, it will still take a little while to finish all 24 containers, but at least it’s easy to do.

It’s even easier with these folding boxes: Decorated for Christmas and labeled with numbers, they make a quick and pretty Advent calendar.

And once your calendar is finished, you can relax nicely while making these snowflakes and decorate your windows for winter at the same time.

The calendar and the boxes are made from photo cardstock, the snowflakes from tissue paper.
