Here are three very different animal motifs from me as suggestions for this weekend: cute little Elo the Elephant, two flamingos in love, and a magical unicorn. Depending on the yarn used, these motifs can be made as a lovey, washcloth, dishcloth, or potholder.

Knitted Spiral Socks are a lovely weekend project. These socks are knitted without a heel, so they fit across several sizes for a long time. Ideal for kids in rubber boots or as family socks.

Knitted with a thick yarn, it can be finished in one weekend. Only knit and purl stitches are used, so this model is also suitable for beginners.
