Accessories knitted in double-face turn out especially warm and cozy. This knitting technique also makes beautiful motifs possible that look great from both sides. Here I’ll introduce you to three of my favorite designs. The double-face basics are explained in detail in all patterns.

This cozy, warm baby set is knitted from soft sock yarn. It features a pretty pattern and consists of a jacket with a hat and bloomers. It even fit my granddaughter until she was 1.5 years old.

This colorful raglan jacket for toddlers ages 2.5 and up is knitted from soft merino wool and features a hood and pockets. It’s perfect for playing outside in the fall. Recommended for intermediate knitters.

These leggings are knitted from sock yarn and fit children ages 3–5. So they’ll grow with your child for a while. This means kids will be perfectly dressed for the outdoors in fall and winter. The leggings keep them nice and warm and are super comfortable.

Warm, soft, and cozy—that’s what you want on chilly days, and not just for clothing:


The little monkey and the bear aren’t just cute cuddly toys—they also provide warmth. That’s because they are cushion covers for grain pillows. The pillows are heated in the microwave for a few minutes and then placed inside the cuddly toy’s belly. This way, they warm up the bed in the evening or help as a warm compress for stomach or neck pain.

The head, arms, and legs are crocheted from soft plush yarn. The body (the actual cushion) is made from heat-resistant cotton yarn.

With a body-warm cuddly toy like this, you’ll fall asleep much faster!

Knitting pattern for a hat for head circumference 33 - 55 cm in a cable pattern. It is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles / small circular knitting needle



To match the hat, there are the warm little shoes. for our very little ones. These are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, and the pattern guides you round by round until it’s time to cut the yarn. 



For older children and adults, there is the matching collar to go with the hat - a lovely alternative to a cowl or scarf
