The shawl collar is crocheted tightly at the top of the neck to keep the neck nice and warm. The lower part is crocheted more airily with a beautiful relief pattern, so that not too much warmth develops under the jacket.

You should be able to do the following stitches: Chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and treble.

Size Information

The shawl collar has a length of 30 cm, at the widest point it is 43 cm wide in size M and at the narrowest 23 cm wide (see photo p. 5, bottom left).

• Merino Extrafine 120 from Schachenmayr (50 g = 120 m) (1.75 oz = 131 yds), Color 103 (Linen)
  yarn weight: Light Worsted, DK
• Size M: approx. 170 g = 4 balls; Size L: approx. 200 g = 4 (up to 5) balls
• Crochet hook 5.5 mm
• thick sewing needle (for sewing the yarn ends)
