Here I’m introducing you to a few crocheted animals from my
Animal Collection . Maybe you’ll feel like making one of them yourself.

The otter is the Animal of the Year 2021. Of course,
Otti the Otter had to be part of my collection. He has caught a big fish and is already looking forward to his feast. Otti is crocheted from cotton yarn. I only used plush cuddly yarn for the snout and the chest patch. That makes Otti especially cute.
Oskar the Octopus was made from a leftover gradient yarn cake. But he can just as easily be made with cotton or any other yarn. I worked a little bending wire into the tentacles. Oskar fits wonderfully into any maritime decoration.

A teddy bear is always a good idea.
Herzibär is especially “heartfelt”: he has heart-shaped eyes, a sweet little snout, cute paws and ears, and around his neck he wears a scarf with a heart pattern. Herzibär is crocheted from pink cuddly yarn. So that the stitches can still be seen while crocheting, a thin cotton thread is crocheted along with it at the same time.
