When you knit a beautiful motif, you can enjoy watching it grow and grow and become more and more recognizable while you work. Double-face knitting is especially great for knitting motifs; above all, there are no floats, but instead two equally beautiful “front sides.” The projects presented here are all knitted in double-face. Grab your two favorite colors and off you go!

2-piece doll outfit

A set consisting of a skirt in a variable length and a matching top — it’s fun to crochet, and later the doll moms will enjoy it too. Both pieces close at the back with a snap fastener. My granddaughter is absolutely delighted with it.





Mosaic blanket made of squares

This is also a lovely project that’s fun to make. First we crochet lots of identical squares in different colors. These are then crocheted together to make a blanket. Every blanket becomes a one-of-a-kind piece in your favorite colors. The size is variable.





Round Colorful Rug

The appeal here lies in the ever-new color combinations. Round by round, a unique colorful rug takes shape. If you feel like using up your leftover yarn, this is a lovely project for it. You can also make it square — you’ll find the pattern for that in a shop.

With these Easter eggs, you can really let your color creativity run wild! That’s because only the motifs are specified in this pattern, but which colors of transparent paper you use to cover the cutouts and how you combine those colors is entirely up to you!



The Easter eggs are made from photo cardstock and transparent paper; the large ones measure approx. 10 x 12.7 cm, the small ones approx. 7.3 x 9 cm, and they are all very easy to recreate.

With this pattern, you’ll get four simple shapes for your future gift boxes. The colors of photo cardstock you use and how you decorate them depend on the occasion for which you’re giving a gift—and, of course, on your personal taste.



These four small boxes have side lengths of approximately 3, 4, 5, and 6 cm. They’re very easy to make and are also great for crafting with kids.
